Everyone Has Standards: Shlub — who's been established as a hedonist with no standards — remarks that the wolves' domestication proposal to be hilariously one-sided in their favor.
Grumpy Old Man: Poseidon is portrayed as a fat, balding, middle-aged man who pits Tyrannis and Carrots against each other in a duel to the death for his personal amusement, the winner getting to marry his daughter.
I Want Grandkids: Deliria set up the kraken fight because she wants Tyrannis to have an heir "worthy of overthrowing [him]."
Offscreen Moment of Awesome: Tyrannis defeating a kraken. Subverted, since it was staged by Deliria to have grandkids.
Shapeshifting Excludes Clothing: After Deliria turns Tyrannis and Carrots back to normal after turning them into fish, Tyrannis is once again naked like in the first episode. Fortunately, he finds a nearby toga which he puts on. Of course, Carrots, being a centaur, doesn't wear clothes.
