Other dub names: Sinking Feeling (4Kids), Farewell, Fluff! (Studio 100)

Wally is bathing in the tub, while Rosa is washing clothes. Rosa doesn't understand why everyone is so obsessed with sea voyages, and Wally tries to explain her why. He is heard by Carlin, who assumes Wally is going on a trip and decides to help him. Wally tries to explain that he didn't mean anything like that, but suddenly Krash and Chiko arrive. They heard about his trip and decided to build a boat for him. Carlin takes Wally to Barry.

Barry is surprised by Wally's sudden decision and collects provisions for him. He also decides to build a vegetable warehouse next to his house for the time of Wally's absence. Carlin and Wally carry a bag of provisions to the pier and meet Olga under the road, who gives them another bag of clothes.

At sunset, Wally approaches the pier where almost all his friends have gathered. Krash and Chiko built a boat for him and named it the "Hurricane". However, the boat turns out to be a small raft. Rosa runs to the pier, hitting one of the pillars of Barry's warehouse on the way, causing it to collapse. Rosa runs to the dock and throws a small bag to Wally, who is leaving. Behind her, the dock is covered by an avalanche of vegetables from Barry's warehouse. Vegetables and fruits fall on the raft, and cause it to sink. Wally and his friends are sitting on the coast in complete confusion. The poet furiously tells them that he's not going anywhere, is afraid of water in general, and would rather go to the moon. Realizing what he just said, he quickly shuts himself, but it's too late. Now his friends think he wants to go into space.

Tropes:

  • Alas, Poor Yorick: Carlin holds the skull in his hands while telling Wally of dangers of the ocean.
  • Out-of-Context Eavesdropping: Carlin overhears Wally explaining Rosa how great sailing the sea is, and assumes he's actually planning to go on the trip.
  • Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony: Carlin smashes the bottle on the raft to pay tribute to tradition, but it ends up hitting Wally.
  • Shout-Out:
    • The plot of the episode is a reference to the Soviet film Cloud-Paradise, where the main character was similarly collected on a trip to the Far East.
    • Seeing off Wally, his friends play the Farewell of Slavianka march.
