Carlin is holding a beauty contest. He gives the second place to Olga and the first to Rosa. The latter receives cherry jam, a bicycle wheel, and the right to participate in the Miss Cosmos beauty contest. Rosa's data has been sent to the commission and everyone is waiting for a response.
Rosa is walking along the path, while Krash and Chiko are carrying a mirror behind her. Everybody's praiseing her beauty. Rosa reaches Dokko's house and looks at the stars through a telescope. She already imagines how she will win the contest and become famous. Suddenly, she hears Barry's scream warning her the answer from commission has arrived. Rosa reads it eagerly, but it turns out that she does not fit their standards of the competition at all. Upset, Rosa runs off into the woods and falls into a puddle. Carlin comforts her that she is still the most beautiful of them, but Rosa doesn't listen and goes home.
She stops looking after herself and the house. Suddenly, she hears music from the street and looks out the window. All her friends gathered in front of the house. Carlin solemnly declares that they have decided to leave this universe and create their own, with different standards of beauty. Since Rosa fully meets these standards, she will be their own Miss Cosmos. Rosa refuses to be beautiful again and slams the window. After looking in the mirror and the old photo of her, she decides to accept their offer.
