Kamen Rider Horobi

Written by Yūya Takahashi
Directed by Kyōhei Yamaguchi

Aruto visits the local hospital for his regular medical examinations, and when he gets there he notices that the hospital is full of HumaGears! This is due to developments in medicine that require the usage of artificial intelligence! These medical HumaGear are locally managed by the hospital's own network, so security is expected to be extremely tough, and they should be unaffected by the corrupting virus inputted by Metsuboujinrai.net. Just then, however, Horobi and Jin appear in front of the hospital…

  • Adaptive Ability: Combined with a HumaGear's natural ability to be rebuilt so long as its data is backed up, Little Assassin is able to grow stronger each time he is revived.
  • Cliffhanger: The episode ends with Vulcan badly defeated by Horobi, to the point where he's near death.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: Kamen Rider Horobi completely destroyed Vulcan. Even moreso, it was when Vulcan was using his strongest Progrise Key.
  • Downer Ending: With the sustained injuries of both Valkyrie and Vulcan, Horobi began his assault to exterminating humanity.
  • Internal Reveal:
    • Aruto and A.I.M.S learn about Horobi and Jin being HumaGears.
    • Isamu and Yua also learn of the secret lab in Aruto's office and Hiden Intelligence’s hidden technology there.
  • Laughing Mad: The hacked HumaGear let out insane laughter before transforming into Trilobite Magias.
  • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Yua’s experimentation of Little Assassin the previous episode was in part of an effort by ZAIA Enterprise to produce a mobile satellite Humongous Mecha known as a Giga that was meant to mass control and reconvert Magia back into HumaGears. However, MetsubouJinrai.net’s successful break-in into A.I.M.S. allowed them to hack into one such Giga unit, using it to break into the hospital's servers to mass-convert all the hospital staff HumaGears into Trilobite Magia.
  • No-Sell: Horobi just shrugs off Isamu’s blasts before executing his Sting Dystopia finish.
  • Rage Breaking Point: Upon figuring out that Horobi was the one who caused the Daybreak Incident, Vulcan goes ballistic. Not that it does him any good.
  • The Reveal: Combined with Wham Shot, Horobi is a HumaGear, having what looks like a broken version of the regular earpiece. Furthermore, his Transformation Sequence reveals that he was the one behind the Daybreak Incident.
  • Say My Name: “FUWA!”
  • Worf Had the Flu: Valkyrie having a hard time fighting Jin due also having to fend off the Dodo Magia (in the first fight) and due to her broken left arm (in the second one).
