Prologue

"Chance": A chance encounter with a Beowolf leads Jaune to stumble across a strange mask on his way to Beacon.

"Dreams": Jaune arrives at Beacon and meets some new faces. Later, he has a dream featuring a strange man in a strange location.
"Initiation": Jaune goes through Beacon's initiation process and discovers his new powers; Team JNPR is formed.
"Victory": As Jaune settles into life at Beacon, he has another dream of the same mysterious warrior from before, this time depicting him participating in a battle. Later, Jaune uses the techniques he saw Nihilus use in his dreams to defeat Cardin.
"Responsibility": Professor Goodwitch talks with Jaune about the way he used his powers in the previous chapter.
"Control": As Jaune feuds with a school bully, he unknowingly makes use of the Force in his everyday interactions.
"Leadership": Jaune trains to develop his powers.
"Fear": During a field trip to Forever Fall, team JNPR is attacked by a mysterious creature.
"Malachor": Jaune dreams of Nihilus's last moments as a Jedi during the Battle of Malachor V; Ozpin and Glynda question Jaune over what he knows about the terentatek.

"Hunger": Jaune recovers from his wounds just as the first school term ends; Teams JNPR and RWBY start off the second school term with a massive food fight.
"Satiation": As his hunger pangs grow, Jaune's emotions start spiraling out of control.
"Dance": As Jaune gets ready to go out with Weiss to the Beacon Dance, all is not what it seems.
"Breach": Jaune deals with the fallout of accidentally mind tricking Weiss into being his date; The Grimm launch an all-out assault on Vale, forcing Jaune to make a costly sacrifice.
"Aftermath": The aftermath of Jaune's actions during the Breach is explored from three different perspectives.

"Vytal": The first rounds of the Vytal Festival kicks off, as a changed Jaune shows off his new powers. Noticing how different her apprentice has become since the Breach, Glynda tries to stage an intervention.
"Gnawing": Ozpin and his allies discover the secret behind Jaune's mysterious powers; Jaune has a dream of Nihilus' first encounter with the Sith.
"Destiny": After learning the truth from Ozpin, Pyrrha has a long-overdue discussion with her partner; As Jaune descends into paranoia, he is forced to choose between the mask and his friends.
"Legends": A long time ago, in a galaxy ravaged by war...
"Nihilus": The heroes are dealt a devastating defeat at the hands of a revived Darth Nihilus.
"Chaos": As Cinder's plan comes to fruition, Nihilus searches for new victims to feed upon. Meanwhile, Ruby and Pyrrha struggle to regroup with their friends as the Battle of Beacon rages around them.
"Death": Cinder and Nihilus clash inside the abandoned Amity Arena while Ironwood tries to handle the situation in Beacon and Vale; With Pyrrha's help, Ozpin awakens an estranged ally.
"Vengeance": With their teams severely debilitated, it's up to Pyrrha and Ruby to save the day; As Winter helps Yang search for her missing teammates, Weiss and Blake confront a vengeful Adam Taurus.
"Sorry": Ruby, Pyrrha, and Ozpin face off against Darth Nihilus in an epic battle to decide the future for all of Remnant.
