The Venezuelan election ramps up, while Jack and Greer lead a team to investigate a military compound deep in the jungle. But what they find is not what they were expecting.

- Embarrassing Nickname: Marcus wants his codename to be "Black Mamba." He ends up with "Uber."Marcus: [After fixing the boat] So, I can be Black Mamba now?

Marcus: Oh, yeah?
Matice: Not really, but I thought you could use a little confidence booster. - Fingore: Greer cuts off Jost Van Der Byl's finger so Jack can run prints and DNA.
- Internal Reveal: Jack finds a bottle of Greer's heart medicine and realises something's wrong.Greer: If the higher-ups found out about this, they'd put me on a desk or force me into retirement.
Jack: What are you gonna do?
Greer: I don't know. - Oh, Crap!: Matice has this reaction to finding out his mission is with Greer and Jack.
- Shout-Out: When Marcus asks to be called Black Mamba, Matice calls him Uma Thurman.
- Title Drop: The mission is located up the Orinoco river.
- Too Dumb to Live: Marcus leaves the boat, in spite of the fact that the getaway driver's entire job is to stay with the getaway vehicle. This leads to him being left behind, forcing Matice and the others to go back later and get him.
- Wham Shot: Jack and Greer sneak into the compound and into one of the cargo containers, expecting to find smuggled weapons. Instead, they find strange mechanical equipment and ammonium nitrate. So if it's not about smuggled weapons, what is it?
- What the Hell, Hero?: When the team is in danger of being spotted, Jack defies orders to check a second cargo container, hoping to find the illegal weapons they were looking for. This gets the operation busted and leads to Marcus getting lost in the jungle.
