Carly, Sam and Freddie get a letter from the show's biggest fan, Mandy Valdez, and invite her to be on the show, but she can't stop following them around.
Meanwhile, Spencer is asked to be the drummer in his favorite band, but his skills are not very good.

- Accidental Misnaming:
- Blake, the leader of Spencer’s favorite band, Backflesh, constantly gets his name wrong. Even in the letter he sends Spencer in which he tells him that he's kicking him out of the band, he addresses Spencer by, "Dear 'Splinter'..."
- One of the band member's name is "Suzay", but both Spencer and Mandy mispronounce it as "Susie".
- "Be Quiet!" Nudge: When Mandy tells the iCarlys that she got the Fladoodles they told her to get, Sam lets slip that she thought they didn’t exist. Carly nudges her in the ribs, and clarified that she MEANT that they are supposed to be really hard to find.
- Captain Obvious: The beginning of the episode has the iCarlys coming into the Shay apartment to see an unknown object covered in a tarp. When they wonder what it is, Freddie pipes up that it looks like a big piece of tarp. Carly and Sam look sideways at him in disbelief over this observation.
- Crazy-Prepared: Carly tries to tell Mandy that they were looking for a different brand of Fladoodles in order to get her away. Mandy promptly brings up an extra bag with a different flavor.
- Dreadful Musician: Spencer's drumming skills are not at all good, never matching the rhythm of Backflesh's music and continuing to drum even after the song is over.
- Laser-Guided Karma: After Backflesh kick Spencer out of the band and steal his drum set despite him getting them booked on Seattle Beat, Mandy starts stalking them and she shows up on the set, ruins their performance, and makes fools out of them on live television with her insane antics.
- Loony Fan: Mandy is so obsessed with iCarly, she follows the hosts wherever they go.
- Motor Mouth: One of the things that makes Mandy so annoying is that she never stops talking.
- No Sense of Personal Space: Mandy. She likes to sneak up on people, gives plenty of hugs, and mugs Freddie's camera while on the show.
- Pronouncing My Name for You: Spencer and Mandy both think one of the band members is named Susie, only for her to correct them that it’s actually "Suzay".
- Real After All: To get rid of Mandy, Carly asks her to get a snack food called “Fladoodles”, figuring Mandy will never find them because she just made them up. But it turns out Fladoodles actually do exist and Mandy found some. In multiple flavors.
- Running Gag: People pronouncing Suzay’s name as Susie, and her correcting them “Su-zay”.
- Snipe Hunt: To try and get Mandy to leave the iCarlys alone, Carly tricks her into finding a nonexistent snack called "Fladoodles". It turns out they indeed exist, and Mandy even found all their possible flavors in return.
- Spit Take: The Mandy-free iCarly webcast at the end concludes with a segment where Sam demonstrates this.
- The Thing That Would Not Leave: Again, Mandy. Even after a guest appearance on their show, she follows the iCarlys wherever they go. She even briefly transfers to their school, much to their horror. It’s only when she gets addicted to Backflesh and decides to bother them instead, does iCarly get a break.
