Never thought the show's producers would get Kylie Minogue as a guest star...wait...

The crew plan on hustling a banker for about £1.5 million, but a persistent new lady catches Mickey's attention, and makes an interesting proposition...

Tropes:

  • The Ace: Lucy worked with Seattle PD and had a 95% success rate, which could've been 100% if one hadn't died. As the gang notes, she's a headline grabber, and is all about getting more power and fame for herself.
  • Celebrity Resemblance: Emma is used as a stand-in for Kylie Minogue in the con before the titles, with the Sheikh wanting her to play a variety of songs at his birthday party. While not planning to meet him originally, she even has to put on an Aussie accent so the gang gets the money from him. After they pull off the con, Emma refuses to believe that she looks like Kylie Minogue (which both Den of Geek from a year prior and the crew can certainly disagree with), acting as an In-Universe form of a Casting Gag.
  • Distaff Counterpart: Lucy is a direct inverse Foil for Mickey. Smart, clever, both a near-flawless track record with their respective fields, they both think like one another, and both are prone to gloating at the others expense.
  • Hell-Bent for Leather: Lucy wears leather jackets throughout the episode.
  • Malicious Misnaming: Emma calling Lucy Britford "Lucy Bitchface" anytime she talks about her.
  • No, Mr. Bond, I Expect You to Dine: Lucy Britford dines with Mickey before pledging to take him down.
  • Running Gag: Piggy Richardson making various "You know what they say..." phrases related to the conversation, but neither Mickey or Albert ever get it right.
  • The Reveal: Lucy thinks the money was in the briefcase, and Piggy thinks he was wired up so the police would record everything they'd say, when in fact the gang had called him up to get the money briefcase early with a heavily disguised Ash and Sean.
  • Unresolved Sexual Tension: The entire episode is Emma squabbling with Mickey after Lucy comes in to act like a lost lover, and it makes her extremely jealous. It also affects the con, as the banker she was meant to stall so Mickey could use his office makes it back early, as Mickey has to improvise a story on the fly.
