Theme: Not judging someone by their appearance, class,or social standing
Character focus: Sarah
The girls recall Sarah's first day at Horseland. At first everyone assumed she'd be another stuck-up snob just like Chloe and Zoey, but they soon learn Sarah is nice and friendly.
This episode provides examples of:
- An Aesop: It's pretty much right there in the title. You shouldn't judge someone's attitude until you get to know them better.
- Dislikes the New Guy: Alma, Molly and Bailey were initially unwelcome of Sarah because they worried she'd be like Chloe and Zoey.
- Easily Forgiven: Sarah forgives the Horseland gang for jumping to conclusions about her behavior.
- Feet-First Introduction: Sarah's introduction to Horseland is shown with a pan up from her feet as she steps out of her limo. Same goes for Scarlet when she exits the trailer.
- Framing Device: The episode is bridged by the group sans Chloe and Zoey having a picnic.
- Genki Girl: Zoey and Chloe were rather overexcited when Sarah first arrived.
- Lonely Rich Kid: Sarah started out as this.
- Jerkass Has a Point: Zoey and Chloe are indeed aloof and spoiled, but they were right to call the others out for sending Sarah away.
- "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Zoey and Chloe deliver one to the kids who initially pushed Sarah away.
- Screw This, I'm Outta Here: When Sarah gathers with the kids for a group hug, the Stiltons’ response is to sneak away embarrassingly.
- Title Drop: Bailey drops it at the end of the episode.
- Welcome Episode: The episode shows how Sarah first came to Horseland.
