ONE PIECE FILM RED to BLUE

As the Straw Hat Crew travels to their next destination, they are followed and engulfed in a sudden colossal cumulonimbus cloud. The aftermath lies only their ship, the Thousand Sunny, with no remnants of life seen.

In a different world, the crew of the Grandcypher finds a similar cloud and notes a suspicious jellyfish inside it, also taken into its world. The two crews decide to combine heads and find their way back home.

Tropes

  • Brain Uploading: Before his death, Nemo uploaded his personality into an automaton.
  • Crossover: With One Piece.
  • Defiant to the End: Nemo chooses the self-destruct option as he clings on to his hatred of adventurers.
  • Freudian Excuse: Much of Nemo's hatred with adventurers stems from being betrayed by them by taking everything he has.
  • It's All My Fault: Pino blames himself over the genocide of adventurers in the gastroverse, mainly due to his interest in adventures lead to the sudden arrival of them and the Jellyfish suddenly stop talking to him.
  • Kryptonite Factor: Nemo conveniently has seastone on him, which is enough to push Luffy's power back. Naturally, the loss of the seastone is what pushed the tides back in Luffy's and the Captain's favor.
  • Let's You and Him Fight: Nemo's hatred of adventurers allowed him to manipulate them into fighting and killing each other, hence the lack of people besides the two crews.
  • Not Quite Dead: Pino is only alive due to the Jellyfish's intervention. While it meant Pino doesn't age and his injuries heal quick, these perks only apply to the gastroverse.
  • Poor Communication Kills: Nemo invokes this so he can get all adventurers killed off without needing to stain his hands with blood.
  • The Runaway: When given the option to stay in the Jellyfish's nest or go on an adventure, Pino chooses the latter.
