No, not Quinn and Tina.note

In which no girls kiss.

Picking up exactly where the last episode ended, Santana is in the principal's office, where Figgins wants to suspend her for violating the apparent zero-tolerance violence policy—which apparently was invented specifically for this scene, so it seems. Santana questions this, but upon being told that slushies don't count as weapons, she changes tack, and proceeds to attempt to convince Figgins that she was overtaken by her evil other personality 'Snixxx'. No-one believes her, but Finn—feeling bad for her—jumps in and tells everyone that it was only a stage slap'. Figgins, Will and Shelby obviously don't believe it for a second, but Finn won't back down—she didn't slap him. Outside the office, Santana demands to know why, and Finn says that he wants Sectionals to be a fair fight. He also insists that she and the Troubletones come to glee that week, as in order to make it up to Santana, he suggests 'Lady Music Week'—a week of doing songs by women, for women, as a way to support Santana. Santana isn't impressed, and clearly would have preferred a simple apology, but with the potential for suspension over her head, she doesn't resist.

Meanwhile, in the hallway, Kurt and Rachel talk about his election chances. Kurt knows—and it's rubbed in by JBI—that his chances aren't good, especially since Brittany has no problems using bribery to get votes. Kurt considers cheating, an idea that Rachel finds distasteful. Back in the choir room, Kurt and Blaine kick off Lady Music Week with some P!nk, a performance they enjoy far more than Santana does.

We cut to Sue's journal, where she is both incensed and confused that people perceive her as a lesbian, and such decides she needs some man-candy on her arm, and after peering through her black book, she comes up with an idea. Her chosen man, it is soon revealed, is Cooter Menkins, who responds to Beiste's feelings of betrayal by pointing out that she appears to be rejecting his advances and keeping it platonic. A heartbroken Beiste leaves, and we cut to the choir room, where Puck performs 'I'm The Only One', obviously aimed at Shelby, and acknowledges that despite the fact he was only a phase for Santana, he was happy to be part of it. Out in the corridor, Quinn confronts Puck about the fact that he was singing mostly to Shelby, and invites him to come over that weekend while her mother's out, and in case the implications weren't clear enough, she spells out exactly what they'll be doing. Puck, for once, isn't in—still too enamoured with Shelby, and disgusted by Quinn's selfish behaviour. Finn and Santana are also talking, and Finn tells her that he cares about her and doesn't want to see her get hurt, citing the fact that they slept together as one of the reason he cares deeply about her. We then fade to the choir room, where he serenades her with a slowed down version of 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun', which apparently moves Santana to forgive him, despite the fact he hasn't really apologised yet.

Next, in the gym, both elections are coming to a head, with the voting taking place, managed by Beiste. It seems that Brittany's win is a given, to Kurt's pale-faced resignation. We see many (but not all) of our students vote—Mercedes note , Mike, Kurt and Finn for Kurt; Quinn note  and Santana for Brittany. Meanwhile, Beiste sadly looks on as Sue and Cooter embrace, and sings a mournful and beautiful version of 'Jolene'.

Back in the hallway, a jock harasses Santana over her sexuality, before all of the ND girls come to her defence, and launching into a high-energy version of "I Kissed A Girl" which concludes in the choir room, where Santana tells them that she told her parents, who took the news quite well. All seems to be well, until Figgins calls Kurt to the office where is revealed that someone stuffed the ballot box in his favour. Kurt denies it, although after admitting he considered cheating, the evidence looks damning. He tells Rachel and Finn that his chances of getting into NYADA are shot, and Rachel admits to Kurt that she stuffed the ballot box, and Finn encourages her to own up to save Kurt from suspension.

Puck, meanwhile, gets a call from Shelby, as Beth has been injured, and he goes with her to hospital and helps negotiate to have Beth's split lip repaired by a plastic surgeon. This apparently impresses Shelby enough that they end up in bed together, although she refuses to be in a relationship with him, stating (correctly) that this should never have happened. He accuses her of being a coward, and storms out. Meanwhile we see the beginnings of what seems to be rather sweet scene between Santana and her abuela, but that quickly takes a turn, after Santana comes out to her, resulting in her abuela disowning her. Back to Puck, he and Quinn are eagerly making out on her bed, and it all comes out exactly what Quinn's plotting—she considers Beth the only thing she's ever done right, and if she can't get Beth back, her next best bet is conceiving another child. Puck, naturally won't go for that, and tells her that she's going to get out of Lima and that the glee club need to work more at helping her with the brokenness and hurt she feels. Quinn asks him to hold her, and he chooses that moment to tell her that he needs to tell her something.

In Sue's office, Cooter asks what Sue's election loss means for their relationship and Beiste comes in, and declares her love for him, and promises to fight to get him back. In the choir room, it appears the other election results have been revealed, as Kurt sincerely congratulates Brittany for her win, who in turn tells him, equally sincerely, that he's still the most unicorn. Santana closes off Lady Music Week with 'Constant Craving' which is joined by Shelby and Kurt. The episode ends with Rachel saying that she confessed to rigging the election, and is suspended for a week, and forbidden from competing in Sectionals.

Next Time: Sectionals 2011, and the prodigal Trout comes home.
