Chapter 51: The Screen
Muko realizes that she has to fight Sephario on her own.
With Kalita knocked unconscious and out of the ring, it's up to Muko to fight Sephario. As the two fight, Muko remembers something that she'd rather forget.
- Ass Kicks You: Muko uses her Muko Meteor on Sephario. Muko even points out that her best move did nothing to Sephario.
- Body Horror: The last time Muko saw her mother was on television, shortly before her death. An experiment caused her to turn into a blob with her body fused to the ones of her colleagues. Her expressionless face implies that the experiment took a toll on her mind.
- Breath Weapon: The Kalandesian dragon uses its fire breath to burn the Science District.
- Continuity Nod: Muko brings up how she had a poster of Sephario in her room, which was seen in Chapter 8.
- Final Boss: Sephario is the final opponent that Muko and Kalita face in Arc 1. Muko lampshades this by stating that fighting Sephario is like fighting the final boss at the beginning of the game.
- Kill It with Fire: A dragon from Kalandesia flew towards the Science District and burned it down with its fire breath, killing thousands of people who lived there.
- No-Sell: Sephario blocks a piece of rubble that Muko kicked ar her with her palm. She also is not affected by Muko Meteor.
- Repressed Memories: Muko has been repressing her memories of Trilamity Day because that's the day that her mother died.
- Wham Episode: The chapter finally shows what happened at Trilamity Day. A dragon flew all the way from Kalandesia to Botaun to burn down the Science District.
- Wham Shot: Two of them show up, both of them relating to Muko and the story.
- Muko's mom appears, but she only shows up as a mutated blob after an experiment went wrong at the Prism Tower.
- The identity of the source of Trilamity is a dragon. The chapter ends with Muko watching as the dragon burns down the Science District, and her mother with it.
