Recap / Fudencio E Seus Amigos S 2 E 22 Juca Esfirra Aberta

Go To

Conrado finds out on TV that the serial killer Juca Esfirra Aberta is on the loose. An adult student who just moved to school, named Pugliesi, is very similar to him. Conrado gets afraid of him and does everything he can to call the police and arrest him.

Tropes:

  • An Aesop: According to Conrado, it's wrong to judge someone by their looks because there is no deadlier weapon than bigotry.
  • Gory Discretion Shot: The titular serial killer murders a woman and Conrado, but in both cases, all that's seen is the exterior of their respective houses. In the woman's case, a scream is also heards, while in Conrado's, only a dramatic cue is heard.
  • Nothing Is Scarier: After spending the entire episode thinking a new student in his class is a murderer he saw on TV, Conrado goes back home, but the interior isn't shown; just the exterior and the voices, with him offscreen. He fins out there is someone else in the house and his mom is missing there; then, there is a scream which is the same one the TV murderer shouted earlier in the episode. Nothing else is heard, other than a dramatic cue while the episode fades to black and ends.
  • Properly Paranoid: Double Subverted. The serial killer at the class turned out not to be Juca Esfirra Aberta, but when Conrado goes home thinking he's safe, he finds the real one.
  • They Killed Kenny Again: Conrado is killed by Juca Esfirra Aberta at the end of the episode.
  • Verbal Tic: The new student at class, who Conrado believes to be the serial killer, says "my dear" often.
