When Lois begins teaching at Adam West High, Chris finds his popularity skyrocketing after a rumor spreads about him and "Ms. Pewterschmidt".
Tropes:
- Call-Back: Chris says Lois teached at his school before. Those who saw "Prick Up Your Ears" and "Connie's Celica" will know what he's talking about.
- Easily Forgiven: Even though Chris went along with a rumor that could have gotten his own mother sent to jail, Lois forgives him once he comes clean and says he just wanted to be popular.
- Gilligan Cut: When Lois starts to brag that her lying on her resume is the same as somebody transitioning, a scene cut to "One Nationwide Apology Tour" later and shows Lois coming back with a bag saying she had to apologize to a bunch of people and now going to learn and listen about transitioning.
- Take That!: When Lois announces that she is going to teach at Adam West High in spite of not having a Master's degree (she lied to the school about having one), Chris and Brian call her out, saying that she can't pretend to be something she's not. Lois retorts that plenty of men these days do it by putting on a dress and declaring themselves to be women...before a Gilligan Cut reveals that she had to embark on an offscreen apology tour for this transphobic remark, referencing how certain people will hijack trans rights by pretending to be one of them and invoking Political Overcorrectness in order to get away with it (a practice known as "transtrending").
