Beverly Barlowe is up to something. Again.

Beverly!Allison: Believe it or not, I'm not the bad guy, Jack.
Carter: Considering you've hijacked my girlfriend's brain, I would disagree.

Allison is acting out of character as Beverly Barlowe makes her move. With everyone in town out of action, it's up to Zoe and Jo to save Eureka's secrets as well as Allison herself.

Tropes

  • Action Girl: Jo as usual, but Zoe gets to be one as well.
  • All Up to You: Halfway through, everyone in Eureka is rendered unconscious except for Zoe and Jo. Then Jo gets tasered and locked in her own cell and it's just Zoe.
  • The Bro Code: Gender Flipped. Zoe is upset with Jo for sleeping with Zane, who she has been crushing on. It gets more complicated, since, in an Alternate Timeline Jo has been with Zane way before.
  • Call-Back:
    • The vaccinations Allison's been giving the Astreus candidates (basically the whole town) are laced with nanobots to give Beverly a way to incapacitate the whole town with a press of a button.
    • The EMO from Momstrosity is back, offering Zoe emotional support as she tries to deactivate the nanobots keeping the town unconscious.
  • Call-Forward: As well as stealing an unknown amount of the GD database, Dekker alludes to having left something in the mainframe.
  • Character Focus: On Jo and Zoe.
  • Daddy Issues: Beverly accuses Zoe of having them, as well as being a narcissist.
  • "Die Hard" on an X: Die Hard in Global Dynamics, complete with heroes and villains taunting each other over radios. Jo and Zoe more or less split the John McClane role between them.
  • Fighting from the Inside: Beverly's plan is delayed when she has trouble inputting Allison's code, as Allison is resisting her.
  • Grand Theft Me: Beverly has taken over Allison's body.
  • Internal Reveal: At the end, Carter tells Zoe about the time travel and, presumably, Jo and Zane's prior relationship.
  • Irony: Lampshaded by Jo when she's shot with her own pulse gun and locked in her own cell. She's not amused.
  • MacGuffin: The target of the Consortium's plan is Eureka's database. They manage to transfer an unknown amount of it to themselves.
  • Not Herself: Allison, due to Beverly taking her over.
Carter: She's not acting like herself.
Zane: Because someone hacked your girlfriend.
  • Oh, Crap!: Zoe, when her first attempt to deactivate the nanobots keeping her father unconscious makes his vital signs plummet.
  • One Password Attempt Ever: Implied when Jo stops the data transfer by fake-hacking her own GD account, causing a security lockdown.
  • Shout-Out:
    • The title obviously refers to The Ωmega Man. Also a reference to the Final Girl trope.
    • Freaking out over what might be wrong with Allison's brain, Carter admits he's basing his theories on a House marathon the night before.
  • Spotting the Thread:
    • Carter realises Allison isn't Allison when she kisses him. This is shown in a wraparound shot that ends with Beverly replacing Allison.
Carter: What have you done with my girlfriend? I've seen the brain scans!
Beverly!Allison: I knew I shouldn't have kissed you! It was just too tempting.
    Carter: Oh, was it?!
    • Henry calls the hospital that would have treated Allison after her "accident" in Reprise and discovers they've never heard of her.
    • Carter goes to the site of Allison's "accident" and realises there was no crash there.
  • Tap on the Head: Zoe takes out one Mook by hitting him on the head with a large spanner in the robotics lab.
  • Toilet Humor: Jo's primary conern while locked in her own cell.
Jo: Why didn't I put a bathroom in here? WHY did I have the Venti?
  • Well-Intentioned Extremist: Beverly paints herself and the Consortium as this trope, but Jack doesn't buy it.
  • Zero-G Spot: Discussed by Henry and Zane.
Zane: Can I ask you something I can't really talk about with anyone else?
Henry: If it has to do with sexual mechanics while in zero-g... no.
Zane: Not that, although, now I have several questions.
