Having been defeated by D-Structs and stranded on a remote island, the Dinotrux find themselves with no option but to attempt to sail back to the crater, but find ocean travel to be a little more dangerous than planned.

- The beach the Dinotrux are stranded in is walled in by massive cliffs. When Skya tries to climb them but falls, she sarcastically remarks how glad she is she conquered her fear of heights.
- The Dinotrux are able to fish for ore from the ocean because they happen to have scrap that has been magnetized by Magnet Mountain.
- No Name Given: It can only be assumed based on episode naming convention that the shark-like beings in the ocean are called Aquadons because they are never identified as such in episode.
- Threatening Shark: The Aquadons invoke this with their fins doubling as cutting saws allowing them to cut apart the raft in an attempt to sink it.
- Walk, Don't Swim: Taking Ace's assurance that the ocean is a lot like the air, Dozer jumps in and is able to drive along the seafloor to find the Aquadons some ore the same way he would on land.
