  • Compromising Call: Narrowly averted as Ruli contemplates calling Hiro to try to figure out what she can do while the others are trying to hide from Frozomon, but she thankfully decides against the decision in time for Frozomon to leave the others alone.
  • Dynamic Entry: TeslaJellymon makes her entrance for the battle with Frozomon with a diving kick, just in time to save Ruli from a Defrost Blade.
  • Final Girl: Downplayed considering no one died, but TeslaJellymon and Ruli are the only ones to escape the frozen power plant and Frozomon's attacks, allowing them to stop his assault to save the boys.
  • Foreshadowing: Possibly. The other Tamers can see the attacks of their friend's Digimon (as was the case of Ruli and TeslaJellymon) may very well be this.
  • Get A Hold Of Yourself Man: TeslaJellymon dishes a slap out to Ruli to snap her out of her below-mentioned Heroic BSoD in time for the two to battle Frozomon.
  • Heroic BSoD: Ruli ends up dealing with one for a brief moment as she realizes the gravity of the situation, especially the possibility that Angoramon and the others could have froze to death while she was hiding from Frozomon.
  • How We Got Here: The episode opens up with most of the cast sans Ruli freezing inside the power plant's control room from the middle of the episode, soon cutting back to the start of the plot.
  • Last Request: Thankfully averted, though before he falls unconscious from the cold, Kiyoshiro tells TeslaJellymon to go to protect Ruli from Frozomon.
  • Never My Fault: Even after the situation is clarified, Frozomon claims that it's the humans' fault for building the power plant in the first place.
  • Wham Shot: During Ruli and TeslaJellymon's battle against Frozomon in the climax, as the two prepare to engage him, Ruli ends up getting an attack command from TeslaJellymon, showing that Digimon commands aren't just limited to being given by their main tamer.
