- Laser-Guided Amnesia: Petermon inflicts this on the families of the children he takes, making them forget they ever had the child. Attempting to remember what he's erased can cause the victims to suffer painful shocks akin to Mind Rape. He also does this to the main trio after he comes and visits them while sleeping once he judges them and their age as being no better than an actual adult.
- Spanner in the Works: The two Hawkmon who informed Hiro of Petermon's kidnapping their friend helped play a vital role in stopping him by evolving into Orcamon and canceling out Petermon's whistle.
- Would Hurt a Child: Petermon is not above physically harming, or even killing children to make sure they stay children. He also considers killing Hiro and his friends at first before erasing their memories. He changes his mind once they confront him in his personal dimension, where he actively attacks them with his sword with murderous intent and hypnotizes other kids to acts as a distraction.
