An unusually hot day at the Creek melts all of Kit's ice pops, so Craig helps her find a short cut to her frozen snack supplier before everyone else melts.
Tropes:
- Cloud Cuckoolander: Roger, the kid who wants to be a troll who guards a bridge.
- Cool Old Lady: Kit's Grandmother Evelyn is where she gets her trading skills from.
- A Day in the Limelight: This is one of the episodes where Kit has a major role.
- Disproportionate Retribution: Kelsey declares everyone is banned from the trading post when a kid offers to trade a candy dispenser with only one candy missing.
- HA HA HA—No: After pulling off the ice pop run, Craig asks Kit if he gets a cut. Kit just laughs and pulls a serious face to tell Craig, "You know better than that."
- Kindhearted Simpleton: J.P. is definitely this due to the fact that he wanted to run the trading tree just the same way Kit does it. Unfortunately, everyone exploits his gullible nature by fooling him using mundane objects that they claim are "lucky".
- Ship Tease: A few moments between Craig and Kit, with the two of them holding hands when Kit accidentally slipped on a stone to the most notable one when Kit gets flustered when her grandmother suggests she has a crush on Craig.
