  • 13 Is Unlucky: Numbuh 13 is so clumsy and accident-prone that he breaks everything he touches.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: Numbuh 3 fights Mr. Boss one-on-one to protect the Rainbow Monkey Lisa. The fight ends with him pleading for mercy.
  • Bittersweet Ending: The Kids are unable to save the Rainbow Monkey Lisa from being destroyed, but they’re finally rid of Numbuh 13 when he accidentally gets himself kidnapped by the adults again.
  • Blatant Lies: When Sector V contacts Sector N to pick up Numbuh 13, they first claim they're under attack, then that they just won the fight once Sector V offers to help, and finally fakes the transmission going out and pretending to be a restaurant when Sector V reconnects. Numbuh 1 obviously doesn't buy it, but figures its not worth the effort to argue.

  • The Dreaded: Numbuh 13; because he's The Jinx, everyone is afraid to be in vicinity of him.
  • Don't Touch It, You Idiot!: Whenever Sector V is in a vehicle, Numbuh 13 keeps pestering Numbuh 2 on pressing the buttons which causes them to crash their vehicles twice.
Numbuh 2: I TOLD YOU NOT TO TOUCH THAT!
  • Facepalm: Mr. Boss over Numbuh 13 once again being in the villains' custody.
  • Foreshadowing: Earlier in the episode, Numbuh 3 gets a vase that has the Rainbow Monkey Lisa's picture on it (and is considered to be very priceless and rare, according to Numbuh 13), Numbuh 13 gets ahold of it and drops it, to her horror. Guess what happens to the Rainbow Monkey Lisa painting when Numbuh 13 gets it?
  • Funny Background Event: The reason there's so much dramatic fog in the mall? Looking on the floor below the one everyone else is on reveals that it's smoke from a hapless hotdog seller's stand that caught on fire.
  • Head Desk: Numbuh 13's repeated insistence on touching the controls of the ship drives Numbuh 2 to slam his head against the dash in frustration.
  • Hidden Depths: The Rainbow Monkey Lisa was actually made by Numbuh 5. When it's accidentally destroyed, she says she'll get to work making a replacement.
  • Hypocritical Humor: Numbuh 2 fires a weapon that his target Ice Cream Man evades knocking some macaroni art off the walls. Numbuh 5 chides him, only for the Ice Cream Man she shoots to accidentally destroy more art.
Numbuh 5: Numbuh 2, we're supposed to be saving the art, not destroying it.
    Numbuh 2: You should talk!
  • Karma Houdini: Numbuh 13’s teammates receive no punishment for refusing to take Numbuh 13 back and pawning him off on Sector V.
  • The Load: Numbuh 13 serves as this for Sector V. He’s absolutely no help and he causes them nothing but grief.
  • Now You Tell Me: Numbuh 13's tip that the adults are planning a macaroni dinner is dismissed, until later on when he mentions that they're planning a raid on the Museum of Macaroni Art to get the macaroni for their meal.
  • Oh, Crap!: Numbuh 1 has this reaction when he realizes who the KND hostage is.
  • Pet the Dog / Throw the Dog a Bone: Mr. Boss willingly agreed to a prisoner exchange to retrieve Toiletnator, and he let him attend the villains’ macaroni dinner.
  • Poor Communication Kills: If Numbuh 13 had just explained that the adults were going to rob Museum of Macaroni Art for their macaroni dinner, Sector V might have taken it seriously right away and possibly had more time to save the art.
  • Prisoner Exchange: In the opening, Mr. Boss and the adults trade with Sector V. Sector V gives the Toiletnator back, but in exchange receives Numbuh 13.
  • Refuse to Rescue the Disliked: When Sector V notices that Numbuh 13 has accidentally gotten himself captured by the adults again, they’re happy to have him off their backs and don’t try to track down the villains to save him.
  • The Scream: From Numbuh 3 when Numbuh 13 ends up destroying the Rainbow Monkey Lisa. It can be heard outside the museum, and the battle between the other Sector V members and the Ice Cream Men abruptly stops.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: After The Scream, a panicked Mr. Boss runs by and tells the Ice Cream Men to "run like little girls" to the nearest exit.
  • Serious Business: Numbuh 3 takes the Rainbow Monkey Lisa very seriously, to the point of Mr. Boss suggesting she stop stressing over some macaroni artwork.
  • Shout-Out: The Museum of Macaroni Art is full of macaroni versions of famous artworks, with the Rainbow Monkey Lisa being a stand-in for The Mona Lisa.
  • Something We Forgot: In the aftermath of the Rainbow Monkey Lisa being destroyed, Numbuh 1 says there was still an upside to all this and lampshades how a certain someone is no longer hanging around them.
  • The Tag: Sector V playing video games in their treehouse with Numbuh 3 commenting on how Numbuh 13 ended up saving the day in the end. When Numbuh 4 points out that he did nothing of the sort, she comments on him being a loser.
  • This Is Gonna Suck: The rest of Sector V when having to approach Numbuh 3, after the Rainbow Monkey Lisa is destroyed.
  • Villains Out Shopping: The whole point of the heist was Mr. Boss was in charge of a supervillain dinner, and macaroni is the main course.
