- The Beastmaster: Numbuh 1 commands a bunch of Rainbow Monkeys to attack the Delightful Children at the end of the episode.
- Call-Back: When the question of who will lead Sector V with Numbuh 1 incapacitated is brought up, Numbuh 4 eagerly puts himself forward, no doubt wanting another shot at leadership since Operation: C.A.N.N.O.N.
- Disproportionate Reward: Inverted. The contest involved among other things, searching for a tablet deep in a remote jungle, and the prize was a keychain.
- Enraged by Idiocy: When Numbuh 86 reveals that the code Numbuh 1 was sent to retrieve was meant to win a Rainbow Monkey keychain in a contest, Numbuh 1 becomes so infuriated that his life was endangered by such a trivial task that he instantly goes back to normal.
- Going Native: Due to being knocked out by the Delightful Children, Numbuh 1 begins acting like a wild Rainbow Monkey.
- Go Mad from the Revelation: Inverted; Numbuh 1 had already been acting like a Rainbow Monkey due to a blow to the head. But after Numbuh 86 reveals that the code they were retrieving was part of a contest to win a free Rainbow Monkey keychain, he’s so enraged by the reveal, he instantly snaps back to normal to rant about how he risked his life and KND resources for such a meaningless purpose.
- Group Hug: Once they realize Numbuh 1 is back to normal, the other members of Sector V waste no time in pulling him into one of these.
- Insulted Awake: After even Lizzie fails at restoring Numbuh 1 to his original self, all hope seems lost. However, upon Numbuh 86 mentioning that the prize for solving the code is nothing more than a Rainbow Monkey keychain, he instantly snaps out of his feral state to rant.
- Jerkass Has a Point: Numbuh 1 is understandably furious that time and resources are wasted, not to mention he was nearly left for dead in the jungle over a keychain.
- Ocular Gushers: Numbuhs 3 and 4 have this once believing Numbuh 1 has evaporated.
- Only One Finds It Fun: Lizzie is totally okay with the new Numbuh 1, mostly because he's more affectionate to her.Lizzie: I think I prefer this Nigie!
- Pet the Dog: Numbuh 86 is sympathetic over why Numbuh 5 turns down becoming sector leader.
- Pre-Asskicking One-Liner: How the Delightful Children learn that Numbuh 1 is The Beastmaster.Numbuh 1: Hey, guys.
Delightful Children: Huh?!
Numbuh 1: Do you mind if my friends come over to play? - Pyrrhic Victory: The Delightful Children win the contest, but Numbuh 1 returns the favor of leaving him for dead in the jungle by siccing a pack of killer Rainbow Monkeys on them.
- Refusal of the Call: With Numbuh 1 feral, Numbuh 86 says someone must be appointed temporary leader of Sector V until he's back to normal. Numbuh 5 refuses for personal reasons and suggests Numbuh 2, who bucks off because sector leaders don't get to fly their own ships.
- The Runt at the End: The Rainbow Monkeys that Numbuh 1 sics on the Delightful Children are of different sizes and colors, but a tiny one is shown lagging behind the group for this effect.
- Serious Business: Numbuhs 3 and 86 are both insanely determined to learn the tablet's code, as the first person to decrypt it gains a Rainbow Monkey keychain.
- Suddenly Shouting: Numbuh 86 says all the code business is about winning a free keychain, leading to this response from a restored Numbuh 1.Numbuh 1: [off-screen] A KEYYYYYCHAINNNNNNNN?!
- The Tag: Numbuhs 74.239 and 71.562 continue arguing whether using Lizzie to try to recover Numbuh 1's sanity was warranted or not. Numbuh 275 walks by and when asked for his opinion, merely rolls his eyes. Regardless, 74.239 counts it as a win.
- Yank the Dog's Chain:
- Numbuh 4's repeated attempts to be named temporary sector leader, capping off with Numbuh 3 getting the nod instead.
- Lizzie's response to Numbuh 1 being back to normal and thus no longer overly affectionate towards her.Lizzie: Oh well, it was nice while it lasted.
