The Decepticons forge an alliance with Euro-Britannia, while the Autobot-Black Knight group solidify their own alliances in the EU.
- Animals Hate Him: It turns out that Arthur's not the only one who bites Suzaku; this extends to all cats, even friendly ones like Eliza, Leila's pet.
- The Berserker: Akito and anyone linked to him mentally goes berserk when Shin's Geass command activates. However, it's Deconstructed in that the Decepticons realize Akito and his companions aren't fighting intelligently anymore and would've lured them into a trap had the Alliance not intervened.
- Got Me Doing It: Lelouch internally dreads that he's turning into Milly when he teases Leila about her liking Akito.Oh my god. I'm turning into Milly!
- Infectious Insanity: As in canon, Akito causes anyone who shares neural bonds with him to experience the effects of his brother's geass for Akito to die. Here, though, it also causes involuntary Geass activation if any of his compatriots can use Geass.
- Internal Reveal: Euro Britannia learns that Gino and Monica survived the Black Rebellion and joined the Autobot-Black Knight Alliance.
- Ship Tease: While playing a game of chess, Lelouch and Leila both admit that they consider one of their pilots (Kallen and Akito, respectfully) as more than friends.
- Teeth-Clenched Teamwork:
- When the Decepticons and Euro-Britannia make an alliance to fight the heroes in the EU, Shin is the only one that seems willing to work with them. The rest of the higher-ups in Euro-Britannia are understandably not happy, notably Marrybell and Gaudefroy. Grand Duke Velaines even contacts Euphemia to let her know about this, as he doesn't trust Steeljaw.
- The alliance, Leila, and Akito initially have some issues with the new wZero recruits, but they rather quickly smooth things out.
- Wham Shot: When C.C. goes into Akito's mind to end his Geass-induced rampage, not only does she learn that Shin gave him said Geass command, but she also sees the Skull, whose eyes are tinged purple, heavily implying that the Skull is related to (and possibly is) Unicron.
