As Megatron's Neo-Ragnarök plan moves closer to completion with Nunnally and Cera in his clutches, Marianne reveals to the Autobot-Black Knight Alliance the horrific truth about her role in the original Ragnarök Connection.

  • Awful Truth: Marianne’s involvement in the Ragnarök Connection is revealed here, by Megatron to Nunnally, and Marianne herself to the heroes.
  • Break the Cutie: Hoo boy. Poor Nunnally was left sobbing after Megatron reveals her mother's atrocities.
  • Broken Pedestal: Not surprisingly, the majority of people who once looked up to Marianne were nonetheless shocked and disgusted over her past actions.
  • Explain, Explain... Oh, Crap!: When Megatron finds out that the overloading fusion cannons were the result of sabotage, he immediately orders Soundwave to show him if Nunnally and Cera are still in their cell, and Soundwave shows him a video of Steeljaw busting them out.
  • Let Me at Him!: Shirley, Milly, and Rivalz have to hold back Rai from attacking Marianne after she reveals the truth about her involvement in the Ragnarök Connection.
  • Night of the Living Mooks: In order to replace the army that they’ve lost over the story, Megatron has a large deposit of Dark Energon hidden underneath Darkmount, and a large field of dead Cybertronians around the area to turn into an army of Terrorcons.
  • Oh, Crap!: When Megatron, Soundwave, and Shockwave realize that the fusion cannons were sabotaged to overload rather than it being an accident, and that it couldn't have been an Autobot so it had to be one of their own, Thundercracker, Slipstream, and Sky-Byte all exchange silent nervous glances with each other. Though luckily for them Megatron turns his attention back to Nunnally and Cera, realizing that Steeljaw is still alive and busted them out while they were distracted.
  • Shout-Out: The chapter's ending, depicting all of the Alliance's forces emerging from portals to confront Megatron, who summons his own soldiers with a wave of his weapon, calls to mind the kickoff to the climatic Final Battle of Avengers: Endgame.
  • Tranquil Fury: Of all of the people who were furious at Marianne, Optimus and Jeremiah were the most calm of them all:
    • Jeremiah tells Marianne that he always saw his failure to protect her as his greatest, and how he had at one point fallen in love with her. But after she reveals her involvement in the Ragnarök Connection, he realizes that his real failure was serving the wrong lord.
    • Optimus is positively livid at Marianne for how she treated her children, but he at least gives her a chance to explain herself, and offers her a chance for redemption.
  • We Need a Distraction: Sky-Byte and Slipstream overload the fusion cannons to distract Megatron, Soundwave, and Shockwave, while Steeljaw busts Nunnally and Cera out of their cell.
  • What the Hell, Hero?: Everyone, including Optimus, calls out Marianne for her involvement in the Ragnarök connection.
  • Wouldn't Hurt a Child: The only thing that was stopping Tohdoh and Sayako from cutting down and throwing a kunai in between her eyes respectfully, was because Marianne is still in Anya’s body.
  • You Are Better Than You Think You Are: Despite the fact that he’s positively and justifiably angry at her, Optimus assures Marianne that she still has a chance to atone for her actions.
