Go To

Still on her quest to find out more about the sex trafficking ring, Tandy takes a dangerous trip to find Mayhem, who may have the answers she is looking for. Meanwhile, Tyrone’s past actions catch up to him and put Adina in harm’s way.

  • Abusive Parents: We see more flashbacks of Tandy's dad being abusive towards her mom. Apparently he didn't just hit her once.
  • Alice Allusion: Tandi quotes Alice's "Curiouser and curiouser" line upon encountering a wall of mirrors in the Darkforce Dimension. Turns out the way forward is to go Through the Looking Glass.
  • Break the Haughty: Connors is obviously a wreck after months in the Darkforce, looking dirty and broken. He even apologizes to Mayhem for killing Fuchs (not that she cares much).
  • De-power: Tandy temporarily gives up her powers when entering the Darkforce, which causes Tyrone to loses his powers too.
  • Didn't Think This Through: Tyrone's reckless actions against the Uptown Block Kings catches up with him, as they find out who he is and target his mother in retaliation.
  • Foreshadowing: Tandy and Mayhem find a record shop full of records of their missing girls. And a whole drawer dedicated to Tandy.
  • A Form You Are Comfortable With: That Which Stands at the Crossroads takes the form of young Tyrone for Tandy. For Mayhem, it took the form of Fuchs.
  • Hassle-Free Hotwire: Tyrone's mom surprises her son with this ability.
  • I Have Many Names: That Which Stands at the Crossroads introduces itself as this to Tandy. Among them he names "Saint Peter", "Atibon" and "Papa Legba" as examples. Tandy opts to call it "Papa Mystery".
  • Internal Reveal: After witnessing him absorbing Mayhem, Tyrone finally tells Tandy about having absorbed Connors months ago.
  • Journey to the Center of the Mind: Tandy lets herself be absorbed by Tyrone's Darkforce in order to find Mayhem. On the way, she also relives much of her past.
  • Mundane Utility: Tandy uses her light dagger as a flashlight.
  • One Phone Call: One of the Uptown Block Kings gets one of these which he uses to tell his fellow gang members about Tyrone's name, whose face he just saw on a Wanted poster in the precinct.
  • Revenge:
    • Despite being told that Tyrone is unarmed by Brigid, the cops bring a whole lot of weapons with them, obviously not trying to detain him, but intent on killing him as revenge for Fuchs.
    • When Tandy is distracted, Mayhem goes on finding Connors in the Darkforce Dimension and tries to hang him for revenge about Fuchs's death.
  • Save the Villain: Tandy saves Connors from Mayhem's wrath. Unfortunately, by using her powers, she sets him free and he escapes in the end.
  • Ungrateful Bastard: Just narrowly avoided with Solomon, the kid whose life Tyrone saved last episode. After much talking and getting his gun taken away by Tyrone, he helps divert the Uptown Block Kings.
