The N Team are called back to Tetris when a mysterious villain turns all the people into block shapes.
Tropes:
- Canon Foreigner: The Puzzle Wizard, a Tetris villain invented for the show.
- Deus ex Machina: Lana and Lyle touch the gems in their royal ornamentation together, restoring Lyle to normal and then blasting the Puzzle Wizard into oblivion. It had never been hinted those had special powers before.
- Exactly What It Says on the Tin: The Puzzle Wizard is a living jigsaw puzzle, and the pieces can separate sometimes, like when he does an Evil Laugh.
- Forced Transformation: All the people of Tetris being turned into shapes from the game.
- Ghost Town: What the N Team find when they get to Tetris, as the Puzzle Wizard has changed everybody into block-shapes. Captain N even calls it that.
- Humongous Mecha: Mayor Squaresly appears to have one, but it's actually a puppet-like contraption that clearly only looks scary.
- I Lied: The Puzzle Wizard tries to shoot Captain N with his block-ifying ray even when he fairly wins the contest they agreed on.
- Paper People: The Puzzle Wizard is completely flat.
- Riddle Me This: The Puzzle Wizard apparently turned all the denizens of Tetris into blocks for losing riddle contests with him.
- Shout-Out: An unintentional one. One of the answers to the riddle game Kevin and Simon are playing at the beginning is "Ghoul School", which was in fact a real Nintendo game.
