In the early morning hours Chris and Danny fly from the Bravest Warriors Invisible Hideout on a mission of the utmost importance... to buy gourmet cereal for Beth. Chris must comfort a Martian chef with daddy issues and return to his best friend for their jinx-iversary.
- Chase Scene: Chris engages in one as he flees from the Cereal Master when he takes off with Beth's cereal. It takes a while for him to get a correct portal back since Wallow is too sleepy to get it right.
- Daddy Issues: Cereal Master believes that her father is disappointed in her for choosing to be a cereal master instead of pursuing a different career. At the end of her chase after Chris, she decides to reconcile with him. As we see in the epilogue animatic, he's proud of her.
- Mundane Made Awesome: The idea of a cereal bar sounds a bit ridiculous, but the way it looks and how the only menu item we know of sounds alone make it sound feasibly cool and appetizing.
- Nervous Wreck: Cereal Master.
- Noodle Implements: Moon-Frosted Double Dolphin Smacks. Cereal Master used to put in Seahorse Dreams — the liquid of a seahorse's physical dreams as it naps in its aquarium — as a milk substitute, but nowadays her new recipe for it calls for tap water instead. The ingredients that have stayed are pink hover-drops, gluten-free space mallows, and a dash of rainbow spit.
- Self-Harm: While breaking down, Cereal Master doesn't hesitate to smash her face against the grill while it's still on, much to everyone else's panic.
