At the end of a long day, Bluey and her family are out of sync and out of sorts, so Mum gets everyone to play "Musical Statues."

- Foreshadowing: Bingo asks for cereal at dinnertime. Bluey's favorite song is "I Love Cereal". At the episode's end, the Heelers are so tired from dancing that Chilli finally gives in and proposes cereal for dinner.
- Good-Times Montage: Towards the end, while Chili voices over the new "rules" of Musical Statues, the audience are treated to one such happy montage. This is meant to encapsulate the family's happier state as everything falls into place for them, from Bandit getting his exercise, to Bingo having someone to play with, right down to Bluey discovering what makes her happy.
- It Runs in the Family: Chilli makes a comment that implies that Bluey got her behavior from Bandit.
- Opening Shout-Out: The Heelers play a game of musical statues in this episode, just as they do every episode in the theme song.
