Jackie and Danny must protect Erin's star witness. When that fails, they realize there's a mole in the task force.

  • Bait-and-Switch: We're lead to believe that the mob will attack Jackie's apartment when they decide to pull up at an apartment building. It's actually an empty apartment with Danny and an ESU team in wait.
  • Batman Gambit: There's a mole in the task force, which consists of personnel of NYPD, FBI and ATF. They all pass the background checks for this special task force, so that doesn't work. The first sign of leakage came in when the designated safehouse is compromised. By further process of elimination, Sid and Danny eliminates themselves and Jackie, leaving the FBI and ATF agents. Outside of the briefing room, the three of them and Erin opt to send out the new address, leading to the Bait-and-Switch above. The surviving gangster gives up the ATF agent.
  • Deadpan Snarker: Gormley holds the snark ball for this episode.
Gormley: Hey, maybe we can ask Denko's crew and ask them which of our guys is playing for their team."
  • Feed the Mole: Unbeknownst to the rest of the task force, Sid, Danny and Erin leaked out the "new address" of the safehouse.
  • Insistent Terminology: When rumor comes about regarding the possibility of Erin becoming a deputy mayor, Henry gripes that she'll become another Corrupt Politician. Erin points out that deputy mayors are appointed, not elected, so according to Jamie, she'll be, rather, a "corrupt city official".
  • The Mafiya: Uri Denko is the defendant. He threatens Erin's first witness, who ends up dead. Jackie and Danny have to protect the next witness.
  • Ms. Fanservice: A photo in Jackie's apartment shows her in a bikini.
  • The Mole: The ATF agent.
  • Spotting the Thread: The first safehouse has a broken air conditioner, so they send a guy to fix it. The maintenance man appears, but his uniform has a welders' union patch, not that of the air conditioners' union. The AC unit has a gun stored and the "maintenance man" is no more.
