While Nick tags along with the Gloubermans on a wild road trip to Florida, Jay discovers he's been "Home Alone'd" and moves in with a new family.
Tropes
- All Just a Dream: Causing a sinkhole that resulted in the destruction of half of Florida was just a "metaphor" according to Connie. Everything else about the trip seems to have been real.
- Brain Bleach: Marty and Barbara have sex, forgetting that they're sharing a room with Nick and by extension Connie, who look like they're not going to fall asleep ever again.
- Call-Back: When reassuring Barbara, Marty says she's a beautiful as the day she hit his car.
- Coming of Age Story: A middle-aged version. Barbara is visited by the Menopause Banshee and over the course of the episode comes to terms with it.
- Disgusting Public Toilet: The gas station bathroom the Gloubermans stop at. The place is full of blood and hair and it's clear someone was killed there while changing their identity. Andrew says that when he tried to poop, the bloody water splashed back onto his butt.
- Everyone Has Standards: Nick is pretty perverted himself, but he draws the line where incest is concerned, repeatedly calling Andrew out on having lustful thoughts towards his cousin.
- Funny Background Event: Right before Nick and Andrew meet Cherry, an old lady can be seen in the background getting eaten by an alligator.
- Kissing Cousins: Andrew can't help but notice that his cousin Cherry is quite attractive now, and Cherry gives him some very strong signals that she wants to make out with him. Andrew even mentions this trope by name.
- Only in Florida:
- Maurice says that anytime he's visited Florida, somebody has died. He has an entire song about how anything goes in the Sunshine State.
- As soon as Nick and the Globermans arrive, they see a baby firing two automatic rifles.
- Andrew's cousin Cherry makes out with him and her weird friend hints that she wants to murder Nick.
- Sex in a Shared Room: Marty and Barbara have sex while sharing the room with Marty's family and Nick because they think everyone else is asleep. Unfortunately, Nick (and Connie) was awake the whole time.
- Shout-Out: When Andrew starts having lustful thoughts about Cherry, Maurice dresses like Borat, a character who also has incestuous tendencies.
- Special Edition Title: Marty keeps complaining over the theme song, and once again, sings the unneeded praises of Two and a Half Men.
- Your Head Asplode: Jay's head explodes after he realizes that while Nick is on vacation with the Gloubermans, Jay can take over his life and the Birch parents are completely OK with it.
