If you think this tour is boring, wait until you see a cratigeon, a dancing statue, and a hotel with an annoying worker!
Tilly Tour

Feeling Gramma has never seen all of Big City before, Tilly takes her on a tour of the city while Cricket and Bill try to renovate the bathroom.

"Tilly Tour" contains examples of:

  • A Day in the Limelight: For Tilly and Gramma.
  • Description Cut:
Gramma: I bet the boys are sorry they missed this!
Tilly: Yeah. They're probably still on the couch watchin' TV.
(Cut to the bathroom, which is flooded, and Cricket and Bill are helplessly floating around)
  • Do-It-Yourself Plumbing Project: Bill plans to renovate Gramma's bathroom while she's away. Unfortunately, Cricket's attempts to help result in the bathroom flooding and getting wrecked. With only one hour to fix everything, Bill only manages to return it to its previous state.
  • Here We Go Again!: On Cricket and Bill's end, Gramma lets them finally renovate the bathroom which they don't feel so comfortable over.
  • Mistaken for an Imposter: The laundry woman comes across what appears to be Tilly and Gramma as a Totem Pole Trench disguise, but it turns out to be a real woman who looks like Tilly.
  • Mix-and-Match Critters: The cratigeon. Half-cat, half-rat, half-pigeon, and...who knows what else?
  • Noodle Incident: It is mentioned Cricket broke something of Bill's which is unknown.
  • Out-of-Character Moment: Cricket is more willing to help with plumbing, something the Cricket of most episodes is completely against.
  • Two Lines, No Waiting: The two plots are Tilly taking Gramma on a tour of Big City and Cricket and Bill attempting to renovate the bathroom while they are out.
  • The Unreveal: What did Cricket break of Bill's?

This food is...well done.
Dinner Party

Cricket convinces Bill to invite Remy's family over for dinner in an attempt for both families to bond with each other, but it goes out of control with their clashing differences and only results in a disagreement.

"Dinner Party" contains examples of:

  • Bottle Episode: The entire episode is set at the Green house.
  • Dissension Remorse: Cricket and Remy immediately stop their feud just before they tackle, realizing they're supposed to be friends, and hug it out before proceeding to call their families out for it. This in turn allows both families to reconcile and become true friends.
  • Dramatic Thunder: When Cricket decides he and Remy cannot be friends at all and opposites don't attract, lightning strikes behind them.
  • Feud Episode: The latter half of the episode becomes this when the Remingtons' visit starts to fall apart, to the point where Cricket and Remy fight each other. It's also the very first one for Cricket and Remy.
  • Fighting Your Friend: Cricket and Remy suddenly turn against each other when they realize their respective families don't accept each other's lifestyles, and learn each other's opposites don't attract at all. They are soon pulled into the football game to fight each other, but the second they meet up, they instantly stop their feud and hug it out.
  • Humor Dissonance: In-Universe. Tilly performs a stand up routine about chickens, The Greens find it hilarious but leave the Remingtons confused. Rashida decided to tell a story about her and a dentist which ends on a retainer pun. This time the Remingtons laugh but the Greens don't get it.
  • Imagine Spot: Cricket and Remy imagine their families living with each other. The fantasy ends when the Remingtons' helicopter drops their mansion on the Greens' house.
  • Token Good Teammate: Tilly is the only one of the Greens who does not battle the Remingtons; she even enjoys the "well-done" meal made by Bill.
  • Wounded Gazelle Gambit: Cricket pulls a relatively minor one to get Bill's attention about the dinner party.
