- The Bus Came Back: Slix Vigma returns to host more Gladiator Games, but in a less evil manner, since the aliens are there willingly instead of being enslaved. As a result, he's less evil sounding.
- Comically Missing the Point: When Ben comments to a medic that something is wrong with Rook, the medic thinks that he means Rook has no chance of winning and bets on Fistrick.
- Pet the Dog: Even with the Golden Fist, Fistina refused to hurt Rook.
- Testosterone Poisoning: Literally, as Fistrick's "bromones" make Rook act like a "bro". He rigs up the Proto-TRUK and the Proto-tool, is obsessed with working out, and winning sweet bling. Because his system is unflushable, the Galvans can't do anything but wait for it to pass.
- Unexplained Recovery: Ben recognizes Slix Vigma, but no explanation is given for how he was rebuilt after being trashed by Kevin.
- Victory by Endurance: Ben fights Malice as The Worst. Malice wastes hours pounding on The Worst, then collapses from exhaustion, giving Ben the win.
