Twists and turns to the Tweested Temple's totem-hunting
The twenty-fifth episode of Battle for BFDI and the 56th episode of the overall series. Firey is eliminated, and the featured challenge is to collect a blessed totem from a temple. Woody, Leafy, Gelatin, and Lollipop are up for elimination.
Tropes include:
- Alliterative Title: "The Tweested Temple".
- Breather Episode: This episode is the shortest in a while, only being eleven minutes long, and isn't very plot-heavy. In contrast, episodes after this one introduces a lot more plot turns and changes to the show.
- Buffy Speak: While giving the contestants a tour of the temple, Purple Face calls one room the "Rectangley-Brownish Room" and another room the "Slightly Smaller Rectangley-Brownish Room".
- Covers Always Lie: In the episode's thumbnail, Firey can be seen trying to get a totem from the challenge along with the other contestants (except Woody and Teardrop), but he actually gets eliminated in the episode.
- Diabolus ex Machina: Leafy and Woody are up for elimination because their totems were given to them by Purple Face.
- Lame Pun Reaction:Lollipop: Gelatin tells me you're quite an awesome, "go with the flow" kind of person.
Teardrop: (nods)
Lollipop: We should use osmosis to absorb you into our alliance.
Teardrop: (facepalms) - Override Command: When Firey sees Flower's Announcer Crusher, he says that he hopes that Flower disabled the voice-activated pulverize command. Of course, the Announcer Crusher responds to the word "pulverize" and crushes the Ferris wheel.
- Red Eyes, Take Warning: It is obvious that the red-eyed totem is cursed, but Lollipop doesn't know this, as she and Teardrop each randomly pick a totem while blindfolded.
