"Ghost Night 2" is episode twenty-six of Baman Piderman. The gang are getting concerned of Wanda's strange and erratic behavior. They decide to journey into her mysterious domain (which acts almost like a pocket dimension within Piderman's fridge) to discover just why she's been acting weird.

Tropes

  • Ambiguous Ending: Just why did Wanda make the gang go through such an ardorous and surreal journey is still left unknown. Did she do it just to get everyone together for a photo? Did she do it to try and kiss Piderman back in the music box room? Did she do it just For the Lulz? Or did she do it for an entirely other reason that we don't know yet?
  • Animation Bump: In a show that is already quite known for it's fluid animation, this episode kicks it into high gear. With even smoother animation, a unique scene transition, several dynamic camera angles, new varied locations not seen in the show before, and plenty of crazy scenes that are all in one take.
  • Armoris Useless: Pumkin takes the time to make origami armor for everyone before going on the journey. It is qucikly blown out of everyone's bodies in the first room they enter from the cold wind.
  • Cerebus Syndrome: Easily the most adventurous and mysterious episode in the show thus far. It's the first episode to feature new locations and actual stakes since "Revealations", nearly five years ago.
  • Chekhov's Gag: Pumkin practicing to dance was originally just a gag back in "Paint Da House", but it proved to be necessary to beat one of Wanda's trials.
  • Continuity Nod
    • Baman is still missing his boots after Red Squib stole them in "We Hab Da Problem".
    • Baman and Tuba are reading the newspapers from "Play Da Concert". One of the headliners read: "Where Do Newspapers Come From?" A question that Baman and Piderman asked in that same episode.
    • Piderman finds Wanda's card that Red Squib crumpled up from "We Hab Da Problem".
    • Pumkin's origami skills are brought back when he tries to make everyone paper armor before entering the Ice Palace.
    • A chocolate cake is inside Piderman's fridge. Tuba's favorite food.
    • It is quite clear that the icy tunnel in the entrance was the hidden passageway from "Ghost Night", just covered in ice and snow.
    • While Red Squib goes through Pumkin's wardrobe, you can see many of his previous outfits being thrown out.
    • The same flower from "Squib Week" is in the ice caves.
    • Like in "Ghost Night", Wanda gets the gang trapped with Those Guys for no reason other than For the Lulz.
  • Disney Acid Sequence: The music box scene.
  • Evolving Credits: Piderman's house is now blue in the theme song.
  • Extra-Long Episode: A whopping fourteen minute-long episode!
  • Freeze-Frame Bonus: One of Wanda's shadows from the music box room tries to kiss Piderman before he's taken away by Baman.
  • Ice Palace: Wanda's world within the fridge is this in spades. Snow seems to be perpetually falling even though it's indoors and ice crystal protrude out of the walls.
  • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Squib (while under a cold) sneezes on the ice key that was needed to open the door. It instantly shatters.
  • Pocket Dimension: Wanda made one that contains her Ice Palace and home. Piderman's fridge is the entrance to her world.
  • The Reveal: The enigmatic buildings Wanda was making back in the season 3 opener was the construction of her Ice Palace and home.
  • Sick Episode: Squid spends most of the episode with a cold after ingesting one of the ice crystals.
  • Sequel Episode: To "Ghost Night", the Halloween Episode episode that introduced Wanda.
