George Michael runs a doomed campaign for class president against Steve Holt. Lindsay kicks Tobias out, but he returns as their singing British housekeeper, Mrs. Featherbottom.
The Arrested Development episode "The Immaculate Election" provides examples of:
- Disguised in Drag: Tobias puts on a Fat Suit, women clothes, a wig and cosmetics for his Mrs. Doubtfire impersonation. Unfortunately his disguise and Cross-Dressing Voice are too paperthin for everybody not to see through.
- Innocent Innuendo: Michael overhears his son and Ann talk about the student body campaign but it sounds like they are about to make out so he storms the room.Ann: I want you to do it.George Michael: I don't think I'm ready.Ann: Of course you are.George Michael: I'm gonna lose it before I start.Michael: (opens the door and shouts) Don't start!...Smoking. It's a killer. That Sammy Davis Jr. should still be alive.
- I Resemble That Remark!:Michael: You've got to be the laziest person in the world.Lindsay: If you weren't all the way on the other side of the room, I'd slap your face.
- Pun-Based Title: To "the Immaculate Conception".
- Shout-Out:
- GOB'S "Office Magic" show is a spoof of David Blaine's "Street Magic" series.
- Tobias poses as Mrs. Doubtfire, with some Mary Poppins in there, as the narrator points out.
- Wham Shot: Steve's father is... Gob.
