Turkey Jerky: In the time of the first Thanksgiving, Miles Standish sets out to bring back a turkey for the pilgrims' feast. Unfortunately, he ends up tangling with the Native Americans (i.e the Warners) when he targets their pet turkey.
Wild Blue Yonder: In this miscellaneous cartoon, newly hatched Birdie ends up mistaking a jet fighter for his mother and pursues it.

Turkey Jerky contains examples of:
- The Cameo:
- At the beginning, when Miles leaves the settlement to hunt for turkey, Slappy and Skippy are seen watching from the branch of a high tree.
- While hunting for a turkey, Miles passes by Elmer Fudd. Elmer tries to say his Character Catchphrase "I'm huntin' wabbits", only for Miles to cut him off and throw him into a bush.
- Digital Destruction: On the DVD, this gets the worst of it. There are sequences where it is not shown in the frame.
- Egomaniac Hunter: Miles Standish is determined to bring back a turkey for the first Thanksgiving no matter what.
- Extreme Omnivore: At one point, Wakko devours Miles' musket. He is then able to fire buckshot at Miles.
- Incredible Shrinking Man: Miles gets shrunk to about an inch tall as the result of a Matryoshka Object gag.
- Piano Drop: When Miles tries to shoot their turkey with a bow and arrow, the Warners tie a piano to the end of the arrow, and Miles gets slammed with it.
