Useless Facts has examples of the following tropes:
- Informed Species: The shrimp that Yakko encounters when telling us that a shrimp's heart is in its head doesn't look much like an actual shrimp.
- When I Was Your Age...: When Yakko tells the viewers that termites can live to be 50 years old, he sees an elderly termite telling his grandchildren, "Why, when I was a young termite, we used to have to walk 50 miles in the snow with no shoes for a good piece of wood. Not like you kids today!"
The Senses Song has examples of the following tropes:
- Be the Ball: At one point, Wakko and Dot briefly turn into balls.
- Call-Back: As the song goes off the rails near the end, we get one to "Yakko's World".
- The Cameo: Ralph, Dr. Scratchansniff, Rita of Rita and Runt fame, Hello Nurse, and Pinky and the Brain all make cameos throughout the song.
- Hammered into the Ground: This happens to Dr. Scratchansniff when he chops down a tree.
- Smelly Feet Gag:Wakko: The sense of smell's the way you tell that you need to change your socks!
The World Can Wait has examples of the following tropes:
- Are You Pondering What I'm Pondering?: "I think so, Brain, but this time, you wear the tutu."
- Formula-Breaking Episode: For once, the Brain puts his world domination plans on hold to attempt to woo a female lab mouse named Billie.
- Playing Cyrano: Pinky, with the Brain.
Kiki's Kitten has examples of the following tropes:
- The Cameo: The Warners run by a sleeping Runt.
- Demoted to Extra: Runt only appears at the beginning and end of the short, with much of the focus on Rita.
- No Fourth Wall: At one point Rita groans, "Something tells me I'm gonna hate this episode..."
- Oh, Crap!: Rita, when she first sees Kiki.
- Shout-Out: Kiki is a parody of the famous gorilla Koko, who had owned a few kittens during her lifetime.
Closing Tower Gag: "It's over. It's definitely over." - Runt
