Continues from De Kraaienpartij (Dolf Is Justice)
Alfred, Ollie, Rangpang and sir Poen have been locked up by Dolf, who has now declared himself the president of Great Waterland. With the help of Henk and Igor, they escape imprisonment while Dolf conspires with the archbishop.

Tropes:
- Bedsheet Ladder: Sir Poen suggests that they make a rope out of his and Rangpang's clother and Alfred's scarf.
- Bound and Gagged: Alfred and friends do this tothe blue-feathered soldier when he turns his back, and he's still like this when his patrolmate comes back.
- Cacophony Cover-Up: Rangpang and sir Poen start screaming and banging the door to mask Alfred's and Ollie's barely audible filing.
- Call-Back:
- When saying that the king has no right to summarily arrest people either, Alfred is referring to episode 21.
- When Rangpang apologises for having Alfred jailed, he refers to episode 16.
- Sir Poen apologises Alfred for his/the court's actions in episode 21.
- Series Continuity Error: In the previous episode there was only one window out back, but now the prison room has two windows on the opposite sides and they can somehow see both the front and the back of the headquarters despite only being in one room. The other window is also facing the alley, raising questions exactly where does the one opposite it face and how can Ollie see anything at all, let alone the front of the building.
- Corrupt Church: The archbishop of Waterland conspires with pseudo-Nazis and is only interested in money.
- Cliffhanger: The episode ends with Alfred and frieds falling into a waterfall, the bottom of which isn't even shown.
- Defector from Commie Land: In the finnish dub, Igor tells Henk that he has stopped spying for Sparrowland and that Waterland is his fatherland now.
- Dub Name Change: Geppe (the crow's party hippo) is named Hermann in the english dub. Given the context, it's propably a reference to Hermann Göring.
- Hypocritical Humor: When the archbishops walks out on Dolf:
- Dolf: What an evil man! note
- No Name Given: The finnish dub never names Geppe at all.
- Never Trust a Title: The dutch title is "Battle for Polderstadt", but there is no battle. Even the royal army doesn't seem to even try anything.
- Playing Drunk: Henk does this in the alley to prevent the patrolling redshirts from being suspicions about the noise they heard.
- Idiot Ball: Why was waking up the guard by banging on the door a part of the escape plan? What if be had entered the room? He wouldn't have heard the filing anyway.
