- She actually means to do it.
- Alice knows that the threat of genital mutilation will persuade Bob to keep his nose clean.
- Inverted: Alice bribes Bob with an implant.
- Gender-Inverted: Bob threatens to cut Alice's breasts off.
- Subverted: Alice threatens to make Bob sing soprano for a year. Alice is a wonderful vocal tutor.
- Double Subverted: Her tuition methods include castration.
- Parodied: Alice threatens Bob with several metaphors, which he doesn't get.
- Zig Zagged: Alice keeps changing her threats.
- Averted: No one is threatend with castration.
- Enforced: "We need a good threat for this threatening threatener to threateningly threaten the threatened guy with"
- Lampshaded: "Real original threat there, pal."
- Invoked: "Okay Alice, threaten this guy the classic way."
- Exploited: Bob has had a long time fear of castration.
