Basic Trope: The Love Interest of a villain (usually a female character paired with a male villain).
- Straight: Becky is the girlfriend of Emperor Evulz.
- Exaggerated:
- Becky is Evulz's wife and helps run his empire.
- Every relationship Becky has is with a villain.
- Downplayed:
- Evulz and Becky have Ship Tease, but aren't explicitly in a relationship.
- Becky is the girlfriend of one of Evulz's mooks.
- Justified:
- Becky is just as power-hungry and ruthless as Evulz, so they have that in common.
- Becky is a Monster Fangirl.
- Evulz actually has some good traits that come out mostly around Becky and she loves him because of his better qualities.
- Evulz hides most of his evil actions from Becky and she doesn't actually realise he's a villain.
- Evil pays well and Becky's a Gold Digger.
- Becky is The Woman Behind the Man to Evulz.
- Inverted: Becky is the love of Hiro's life.
- Gender-Inverted: Bob is the Hot Consort of Evila, the resident evil bitch of the series.
- Subverted:
- Becky is in love with Evulz, but he doesn't give two hoots about her.
- When Becky realises just how bad Evulz is, she breaks up with him.
- Evulz is attracted to Becky, but she wants nothing to do with him.
- Double Subverted:
- Evulz decides he needs a companion and, remembering Becky's interest in him, asks her out.
- Becky can't find a decent man to take Evulz' place, so she goes back to him.
- Parodied: Emperor Evulz gets back to his lair and Becky greets him with dinner and a hot bath, asking him how his day was and reminding him to call back the torture chamber installer to set up an appointment. Oh, and they need more milk, so if it's not too much trouble could he buy some the next time he's out.
- Averted: Emperor Evulz has no interest in romantic relationships.
- Lampshaded: "I can't believe Emperor Evulz of all people has a girlfriend. What Does She See in Him?"
- Exploited: The heroes kidnap Becky to distract Evulz from carrying out his Evil Plan.
- Defied: See Subverted or Averted.
- Deconstructed: Emperor Evulz being, well, evil, tends to be short-tempered, violent and lacking in empathy. He treats Becky more like a possession than a partner and ignores her wants and feelings, while also taking out his frustrations on her. Becky stays with Evulz despite his mistreatment because she's too afraid to leave him or because she futilely hopes he will change (or both).
