- Just like how guys can understand each other by having fights, girls deepen their bonds through Passive Aggressive Combat. Sometimes it works and they become Vitriolic Best Buds, and sometimes it's really just animosity, but it's impossible to tell without context.

- Enforced: "People like to see women fighting. Let's add large-scale conflicts to make that happen."
- Lampshaded: "Ya know that All Women Hate Each Other, David. Don't get surprised if Alice murders Betty to steal her husband."

- It's The Smurfette Battle Royale Game, and all female contestants must fight against each other to become the only remaining girl in the all-male world.
- Alice disguises herself as a man to avoid being attacked.
- Exploited: The women in the setting all dislike each other, but are great fighters and have the upper hand. Villain Harold throws an Apple of Discord their way to distract them, since he knows that they care more about one upping each other than finishing the task at hand.
- Defied: Women stop fighting and start resolveling their problems by talking the problem out.
- Discussed: "You do understand that you're a woman yourself right?" "So? Just because we happen to share the same genitals doesn't mean I have to agree with everything a woman says or that I should feel solidarity towards her. Screw her!"
- Conversed: "Does any girl in this work like hanging out with other girls?" "Judging by how vicious they all are to everybody except Mark, I doubt it."
- Implied: None of the female characters have any same-sex ally.
- Played for Laughs: A group of boys and a group of girls order pizza. Everyone disagrees on the toppings, but the girl group takes it personally and start badgering each other for their wrong choices in pizza and life. Meanwhile the boys decide to split the pizza toppings accordingly.
- Deconstructed: If all girls hate each other, what makes them think the guys would like them any better? They see how girls keep tearing each other down and think this gives men a free pass to shame women the same way.
- Reconstructed: The women discover the nature of Girl on Girl Is Hot, so they take advantage of the fact by pretend to be lesbians and making out to score the guys.
