General
- The Muse is a mysterious, sinister being who remains virtually unseen aside from the occasional shot of its tentacles. For reasons unknown, the Muse made a deal with Alex in return for him providing it meat. However, as the videos progress, the Muse's demands continue to increase, climaxing in it devouring a live cat. Worse, Victoria reveals that she has one in her home, thus meaning there are more of these eldritch creatures.
SPONGEBOB CONSPIRACY #3: The Mrs. Puff Theory
- While not as out there compared to many later theories, the underlying nature of this theory is horrifying in how plausible someone like Richard Bottomfeeder could be. Imagine being Mrs. Puff, who made a terrible mistake that forces her to flee her home and identity to start from scratch. She feels so much remorse that she is determined to never make the same mistake again, only to end up stuck with someone who is even worse than the person she had foolishly given a license to. But then Bottomfeeder comes for revenge, and does everything in his power to make her life absolutely miserable for revenge and to satiate his own sadism. And because he's a man in a position of greater power as well as anonymity, Mrs. Puff cannot do anything about it except be forced to suffer because she simply does not know that this twisted mastermind is destroying her life. It's an chillingly understated horror of just the lengths some people will go to harm someone they believe deserves to suffer, even if it meant becoming a worse monster in the process, and even if that person genuinely is trying to make amends.
SPONGEBOB CONSPIRACY #6: The Goofy Goober Alien Death Cult Theory
- In this one, Goofy Goober's Ice Cream Party Boat is theorized to be a cult that indoctrinates its members with the belief that they would one day be abducted by aliens. The cult members are further indoctrinated via brainwashing due to the mind-altering effects of the ice cream. With this, Squidina, a character introduced in the spin-off series as Patrick's adopted sibling, is theorized to have been forcefully brainwashed to the point she forgot her previous life.
SPONGEBOB CONSPIRACY #7: The Robot Invasion Theory
- While his video on the plausibility of a robot invasion is already unnerving, Alex theorizes that Patrick himself was replaced by a robot during the events of the "Patrick SmartPants" episode, and was one for the entirety of the show's run. The theory posits that Plankton, who was already planning on taking over Bikini Bottom with robots, took this as a good opportunity and placed the brain coral there on purpose.
This SpongeBob Conspiracy was created by an AI (April Fools 2022)
- While this video is non-canon, it is quite possibly the most disturbing video in the series. The video starts out normally about how Squidward is related to King Neptune. Then, it starts going off-topic by talking about Sandy being a robot, and Mr. Krabs being Pearl's actual father. We then get treated to a deepfake of Alex, which looks very... unnerving. Things being to quickly start to become strange when it starts talking about Larry being in the CIA. The images used become AI-generated, which look very surreal. Soon, the theory spirals out of control, the images become more surreal, the voice AI of Alex becomes more robotic and switches to a different voice for a moment, the theory itself becomes bizarre and makes no sense, scenes start repeating (one example is during the showcase of time travel in the show, where the AI list two examples and repeats them again), and the deepfake of Alex becomes more distorted like the other images. One memorable moment is during the "SpongeBob's grandma is a time traveler" theory, when showing evidence to the theory, the AI says that SpongeBob's grandma said "ive seen things you've only seen in your nightmares." We are then treated to a horrifying AI generated image of a grandma that zooms in as more creepy images of grandmas show up.
The Time-Traveling Ghost Pirate Theory
- In it, Patchy, the self-appointed number one fan of the yellow sponge, became increasingly resentful of SpongeBob due to the latter not acknowledging his existence. It climaxes in him and Potty being buried up to their legs in sand after landing on an island, and they were never able to escape. Upon dying, Patchy seeing his idol and his friends celebrating his birthday was the final straw, causing him to become the vengeful spirit, the Flying Dutchman.
- While distracted, the Muse stings Alex with one of its tentacles. Alex starts seeing trippy hallucinations and craving raw meat. He then passes a muse onto his friend Wesley, per Victoria's recommendation. It is then heavily implied that Victoria birthed Alex's Muse, with it telling her she did a great job.
Conspiracy Theory #9
- We finally see the Muse's face when Alex is mistakenly led to think it's Weakened by the Light. It ain't pretty.Muse: You are mistaken… the darkness is not for my protection… it is for YOURS!
