Nightmare Fuel / Fear (1996)

• The entire premise of the film is this because it starts as an innocent romance between a teenage girl and a very hot guy, then he becomes very possessive of her, to a point where he and his gang invades her family's home.
• At the fair, Nicole sees Margo and Logan making out, he then glares at her, pointing his finger at her. This implies that her lust for David is going to end badly.
• When David picks up Nicole from school, he see her hugging her friend Gary and starts kicking him, much to Nicole's horror. This is where the film's tone becomes darker.
• Nicole drives to a party that David invited her to at his friend Logan's house, only to see him rape her best friend Margo. From then on, Nicole finally comes to her senses when she drives home in tears.
• After being confronted by Nicole, Margo drives home, only to be chased by David. He then threatens her to convince Nicole to take her back or else he would hurt her.
  David: You fucking lying fucking whore. Get the fuck outta the car! You lying FUCKING WHORE! What did you say to her? What the FUCK did you say to her?
  Margo: (crying) Nothing. I swear, David. I didn't tell her. I don't know how she knows.
  David: But she knows. Let me tell you something. You better fix it. You better make it right again. Because if you don't, I'm gonna hurt you. (He kisses Margo.) Don't cry. You fucking liked it.
• When David follows Gary, talks to him by comparing him to the walls of his old foster homes and institutions, chases him, pushes him to the ground, and snaps his neck, killing him.
• When David corners Nicole in the women's restroom. All that she can do afterwards is to cry for help.
• When Steven enters David's room in Logan's house, he finds an obscure shrine of Nicole, including a poster with Nicole's face plastered onto it, a Chucky doll, a wedding figurine, and a book-like chest. He forcefully opens it and finds his family's photo his face plastered with David's on it, Nicole's panties, and a small heart-shaped engagement ring box, wrapped with a bracelet that reads "DAVID'S GIRL" (it used to read "DADDY'S GIRL"). In a fit of rage, he ransacks the room as he vandalizes the rest of the house.
• The death of the family dog Kaiser. The dog's severed head was pushed through the doggy door.
• The moment where Steven is looking at the peephole, seeing David at the front porch.
  David: It all could have been different Mr. Walker. You should have allowed nature to take its course. In the end it will anyway. SO LET ME IN THE FUCKING HOUSE!
  • This was originally omitted from a rough cut of the film and was featured in a gag reel as director James Foley thought that Mark Wahlberg was joking around. Foley reluctantly agreed to add the scene into the final film as it was one of producer Brian Grazer's favorite scenes in the film.
• The moment where Logan breaks into Nicole's room and tries to rape her. Margo intervenes and is beaten by him. When Laura, Nicole's stepmother, sees this, she can only scream: STOP HITTING HER YOU MOTHERF..., only for David to duct tape her mouth shut.
  • When David sees Logan attempting to rape Nicole, he shoots him dead.
