Music is truly a force to be reckoned with.
While moments like these may seem rare considering it's a goofy Supercell game, there's no denying that the amount of lore will result in Nightmare Fuel finding its way in.

As a Moments subpage, all spoilers are unmarked as per policy. You Have Been Warned.

  • The Starr Park Brawl Talk, particularly the "Investor Video" introduced some really disturbing implications of the game. In a nutshell, it suggests that Brawl Stars takes in an extremely messed up Amusement Park of Doom , which has poor regulation and might even be trapping people inside to turn them into Brawlers. The employees are overworked and deal with ridiculous things, and even the investor himself goes insane. Worst of all, easter eggs about how they are aware they are being controlled by us, and the constant cheering of "the place you never want to leave." only make the lore of Brawl Stars even more nightmarish.
    • There are numerous instances of blink-and-you'll-miss-it moments to show just how wrong the place is. One notable instance is an attendant spelling out "DANGER" with her eyes in morse code before growing fangs.
    • Also related to Starr Park, we have the WKBRL livestream. A radio transmitting directly from Starr Park. The tagline itself, "The Voice That Hears You" is also reinforced by some messages that seem to directly target a particular listener, such as various "smile reminders" and someone telling you that "there is no reason to not be happy". In fact, it seems smiling is mandatory in Starr Park, and one message even has the announcer get progressively angrier at a listener for not smiling. A small price to play for some banging tunes.
    • Speaking of Welcome To Starr Park, the Chromatic, Colette, if not seen as Creepy Cute, can fall into this, from her demented stalker personality and shark-like gnashers to just how downright psychotic her character design looks. Mercifully, there's skins to tone down her creepiness, such as the Pawette group of skins.
  • The Brawl Talk preview for the Enchanted Woods season. What's worse about the preview? The hellish red filter, making the woods seem like some Eldritch Location right out of Stranger Things? Or the sinister-looking shadow in the center of the screen who looks to be approaching the viewer with an angry glare in its eyes? Thankfully, the Enchanted Woods are anything but hellish and are like every other Enchanted Forest, with skins such as Wood Spirit Chester and Dark Fairy Janet that have no hint of fearsomeness at all, but there's no denying that this is one of the more unsettling artworks.
