In Search For Elusive Little Tropes:

  • Domestic Abuse: Implied in "One Night In October", as the singer mentions getting sent to the hospital after getting attacked a girl (presumbly his partner) and getting sent to intensive care and sleeping in the car.
  • Lyrical Dissonance: "One Night In October" is very upbeat for a song about the singer getting beaten up badly by a girl to the point he had to go to intensive care.
  • Self-Titled Album: Somewhat downplayed, but their debut album is called "In Search For Elusive Little Comets"
  • The Something Song: "Dancing Song".

  • Word Salad Lyrics: Some of their songs can be rather nonsensical, such as "Dancing Song".
Well you're so socially outrageous with your lack of self control
So take your 37 digits and put them in her mobile phone
With all your quintessential skint potential leaking from your pores
Well let your tiptoes tell your fingers that this is a dancing song
