Fatty Spins (stylised as FAttY SPiNS) was a comedy rap group formed by Ray William Johnson, Micfri and Breeze that was active from 2009 to 2010. Among the several songs they released, they are most (in)famous online for their song "Doin' Your Mom".
The group disbanded due to royalty disputes, which led to infighting among the members. According to Ray, after Micfri and Breeze threatened to sue each other, he gave up his share of the royalties, took over the group's YouTube channel so no one could post or make money off it, and uploaded their songs to zShare and SoundCloud for free download. According to him and Micfri, Ray has made zero profit from the group to this day.
Micfri had a particularly negative reaction to the group's demise. He made videos mocking and harassing Ray, made another YouTube channel to re-upload the group's songs, and livestreamed himself going on drunken rants, during one of which he admitted that he would continuously re-upload the group's songs to iTunes to turn a profit. In 2021, he also began selling GIFs of the "Doin' Your Mom" music video as NFTs, to which Ray labeled him a "music pirate" and removed all mentions of him from the group's original channel.
After the breakup, Ray continued to make videos on =3 and became better known for music through his virtual band Your Favorite Martian. That said, two previously unheard songs were released in 2020.
