• The scene from "Party Pete" where Mordecai asks Rigby if he has a better idea (than hiring Party Pete) and Rigby replying "yes, I do" and placing a tape in a player has become popular in the summer of 2018 on Twitter by replacing the song with another song, usually cutting it off at the first split-second.

• A fairly popular reaction image is Mordecai excitedly driving in the direction of a town titled "Inevitable Disappointment"◊, used when a highly-anticipated event is coming up (sometimes with someone relevant to the event being edited over Mordecai).
• Mordecai is a simp.^ExplanationSimp is a term used to describe men who are so obsessed with a woman they love they'll do anything to cater for her, but never get laid. In February 2020, Twitter user kasaisaiyajin made a post asking which character was more of a simp: Mordecai or Finn. Mordecai won by an absurd amount, to the point that Mordecai managed to get onto the trending tab at number one in the US and numerous compilation videos were created on YouTube to highlight all the Dogged Nice Guy jokes at Mordecai's expense.
• "You pissed me off..."^ExplanationOut of Regular Show's early attempts at Obligatory Swearing, the scene where Mordecai gets angry at Rigby in "Meat Your Maker" is probably the most famous. Mordecai's quote is often combined with the final battle of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders as well, since protagonist Jotaro Kujo says the same thing.

I could really use a wish right now, wish right now, wish right now."^ExplanationThis DeviantArt piece by bluedog444 of a crude Microsoft Paint drawing of Twilight Sparkle and Mordecai tearfully singing "Airplanes" by BOB and Hayley Williams gained attention for being in line with DeviantArt's infamous reputation of poor quality MS Paint art depicting Crack Ships, along with children who grew up in the 2010's enjoying melodramatic music. As of August 2021, it resurged and brought upon various music video edits, artistic renditions, and variations (such as Benson and Fluttershy singing "Payphone" by Maroon 5).
• Average Regular Show episode ^ExplanationVarious people have poked fun at Regular Show's general formulaic episode structure about things starting out ordinary then taking a gigantic nosedive into disaster and supernaturality all because of Mordecai and Rigby's antics. Some variations of this make up◊ their own hypothetical plots as a riff on this.
• "W-w-w-wait! There's lots of other characters if you don't like the pixie sorcerer." "No there aren't. They're all just the same with different costumes."^note This scene from the season 2 episode "But I Have A Receipt" is often used to poke fun at NFTs and how a lot of the artwork attached to them is seemingly just avatars randomly generated from a base template, though it has also seen use as a jab towards other media and creators whose characters clearly all look the same, notably those from 80s Merchandise-Driven cartoons, Ken Penders' echidna characters, and Sonic the Hedgehog fan characters.
• Muscle Man being dragged into the woods ^ExplanationA scene where Muscle Man is dragged into the woods by an invisible force while firing a shotgun wildly. A sped-up gif of this is commonly used when describing scenarios where someone is being removed from a place against their will (for example).
• RIGBY! Did you eat all the cookies?!^ExplanationAn edit of a Mordecai x Rigby shipping comic fandub where Mordecai catches Rigby guzzling cookies from the cookie jar and angrily asks if he ate all of them in disbelief. Rigby responds by saying he "saved" Mordecai a cookie, holding said cookie in his mouth. Rigby asks Mordecai if he wants the cookie, and then the ending to the comic is replaced by Mordecai violently murdering Rigby.
