• KEVIN!!!! ^note Kate screams this on the airplane in the first film when she realizes Kevin has been left home alone.
• "Buzz, your girlfriend, WOOF!" ^note What Kevin says when he goes through Buzz's room and finds a photo of his girlfriend (actually a boy in drag, due to Chris Columbus wanting to avoid mocking an actual girl).
• "I'M! LIVING! ALONE!"
• Marv's girly scream was the basis for a popular YTMND fad. Sites with unsuspecting titles would reveal itself with Marv's spider scream turned up to speaker-shattering levels. The name of the fad? "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" Made more amusing as Daniel Stern gives the exact same scream in City Slickers II: The Legend of Curly's Gold, implying that it really is his normal scream.
• And of course, Kevin's hands-on-cheeks scream, which is apparently a must for any Home Alone parody. Kevin screaming in general qualifies.

  • The poster having various people photoshopped in place of Harry and Marv. Michael Jackson was a popular choice at the time of his molestation trial.
• Many lines from short scenes of fictional movies, Angels with Filthy Souls and Angels with Even Filthier Souls:
  • "Leave it on the doorstep and get the hell outta here!" ^note This one in particular picked up a lot of steam throughout 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic keeping everyone stuck in their homes. Many restaurants had to switch to delivery, which for their customers safety, they leave the food at the door.

• At the time of the third movie's release, kids all across America were saying, "Do not - I repeat - do not draw attention to yourself" at the drop of a hat.
• Harry's incoherent sputters of rage every time he suffers a mishap at Kevin's hands. Basically what happens when you put Joe Pesci in a PG film.
• "Skull fracture with epidural hematoma. Marv is dead." *1-Up sound* ^Explanation Honest Action on YouTube examined what real injuries Harry and Marv would suffer from the traps. Kevin throwing bricks at Marv's face in 2 is met with the above analysis for each individual brick.
  • In general, analyzing the injuries Harry and Marv suffer, and which ones should be fatal, is popular.
• Donald Trump's cameo in the second movie sparked a number of memes during and after the 2016 election. The first was that him giving a unsupervised kid the wrong directions ^note  When Kevin asks him where the front desk is, the directions he gives him are completely incorrect. would make him unsuitable for presidency. Later, when the infamous "grab 'em on the pussy" clip leaked, that line was dubbed in after he says "down by the hall" in some YouTube clips that went viral. After he was elected, a third meme said "Everyone's bashing Trump but I don't remember Hillary helping Kevin find the lobby." Also, of note is CinemaSins giving Trump's cameo one BILLION sins.^note  A reference to Trump's tweet of receiving a "small loan of one million dollars" from his father.
  • Donald Trump is the first cast member of Home Alone 2 to be a president impeached by the U.S. House of Representatives. And also impeached twice.
  • Was it Trump all along?^Explanation A typical reaction to people outside the US who grew up with the film without knowing who the guy in the hotel was, until the 2016 election.
• “I’m not afraid anymore!” *cue Flowey’s Evil Laugh* “AAAAAAAAAAAAH!”^Explanation This exchange was a trend on TikTok during the early 2020s, with Flowey usually representing a fear (or anything else unpleasant) that the person thought they had overcome.
• Tomorrow is X ^Explanation  An image of Kevin screaming with the caption, often used to notify other people of certain days such as May the 4th.
