These are tropes pertaining to members of the family Ursidae, A.K.A. bears.
Despite the names, The Bear, Exit, Pursued by a Bear, Care-Bear Stare, Dancing Bear, 20 Bear Asses, Killer Bear Hug, Sealed Evil in a Teddy Bear, Yet Another Baby Panda, Make the Bear Angry Again, and Bear Hug do not go here. While the Trope Namer of Mama Bear comes from North American grizzly bears protecting their cubs, the trope in general is about a mother who is protective of her kids. Laid-Back Koala and Drop Bears don't go here as koalas are not actual bears, but rather marsupials (with drop bears being a mythical creature).
