The Goosebumps Most Wanted book where a kid finds a strange mask on Halloween.

Scott Harmon and his friend Amanda Gold are very easily frightened, much to the amusement of his younger sister Rita. But as Halloween approaches, Scott becomes determined to get over his fears. Having discovered a strange mask in an apparently haunted house that, when worn, makes it appear that weird things are happening, Scott plans to spend the night in the house and scare some of the local bullies. However, thanks to the mask and the ghost of its former owner, things don't go quite as planned...

Not to be confused with the Give Yourself Goosebumps entry, Trick or... Trapped!.
