  • Soujuurou's immediate fondness towards Aoko, being innocently unmindful of her brashness towards him.
  • Tobimaru quickly becomes friends with Soujuurou at school, helping him acclimatize to the unfamilar school setting and giving him plenty of unabashed advice - including romantic advice after misinterpreting Soujuurou's interest in Aoko as a crush.
  • Similarly to Tobimaru, Kinomi also becomes a fast friend of Soujuurou both in school and at their shared part-time jobs, offering advice to him and informing him of job opportunities to help out his financial situation.
  • Aoko's heartfelt confession of admiration towards Soujuurou in Chapter 5, following their decisive battle against Alice in the amusement park. Her sincerity in her words as she thanks him for saving her in the last minute is a testament that she's nicer than she seems.
  • Soujuurou and Alice's first honest conversation where despite Alice's hostility and distrust Soujuurou's honest and kind nature is able to pass her hidden test and cause her to ease up on him.
  • Aoko defending Soujuurou's right to work more than one part-time job.
  • Soujuurou deciding to come back and help Aoko, putting his trust in her.
  • Chapter 13 is chock full of moments, being a calm aftermath chapter that wraps up the story.
    • Aoko drops her Tsundere attitude towards Soujuurou and invites him to accompany her on her way to her family's house, ostensibly just for his company during the long trip.
    • When meeting Aoko's grandfather for the first time, Soujuurou doesn't hesitate to call him out on his callous attitude towards his granddaughters, defending not only Aoko but even Touko while arguing with him.
    • Aoko's grandfather refrains from wiping Soujuurou's memory despite being the one who summoned Soujuurou as he wants Aoko to clean up her own messes, surprising Aoko who wasn't expecting to be able to walk back home to the Kuonji Mansion together with him.
    • While returning home from visiting Aoko's family, Soujuurou takes note of the time and stops to congratulate Aoko on the new year.
    • Soujuurou decides to go on a detour to buy mochi for Alice as thanks for watching over the mansion in their absence with the rationale that Alice has probably never ate any mochi before, which Aoko agrees with.
    • In the final scene taking place months after the events of the main story, Soujuurou has become acclimatized to the Kuonji Mansion and has taken to being the resident groundskeeper. Aoko finds a tome in the library that can teach her and Alice how to wipe Soujuurou's memory, but Aoko instead decides to hide the tome and let Soujuurou live together with them longer.
  • After the main story, Beowulf doesn't hold any grudge or animosity towards Soujuurou and instead becomes a jovial friend towards him, appreciating Soujuurou for teaching him a lesson in humility by defeating him.
    • During the months-long gap between the final chapter and the 'Anyone Can Sleep, But Not Laugh' scenario, Beowulf manages to befriend Soujuurou's schoolfriends like Tobimaru and Kinomi too as well as get along with Aoko and Alice, meaning he no longer has to hole himself up in the old school building in secrecy.
  • Touko and Beowulf have a pleasant relationship together, with Beowulf telling Touko he's willing to accept her as his Master. Beowulf doesn't think their pact is null, since he acknowledges he was unable to fulfil his end of their bargain in defeating Touko.
  • Kumari is revealed to have a crush on Tobimaru in 'Anyone Can Sleep, But Not Laugh', and the feeling is somewhat mutual on Tobimaru's part with the two having many cute interactions in the scenario.
    • While the other guests present goof off in the drawing room, Kumari and Tobimaru talk alone in the sunroom with the latter admitting his admiration of the former for working so hard to achieve her own dreams.
    • After half the cast has died and Aoko has been locked up as the apparent murderer, Tobimaru stays with Kumari in her room and offers to sleep on her couch to keep her safe.
    • Kumari rejects Sweets Hearts' pleas and promises of a prize for winning the murder mystery game, as no prize can be worthwhile with Tobimaru dead. Sweets Hearts eventually relents, leaving behind an encouraging message for Kumari before everyone revives without their memories of the game.
